If Charlie's exit had been him being killed by Ronnie

Maybe with Vincent's help. Would that have made you give up on her character finally? Or would you have thought at least that was better than the exit he got the other day?

I would have preferred charlie actually taking Matthew, which resorts in Ronnie and Roxy going to France to hunt Charlie down, we could have had a cameo from Jack Branning but the budgets are no longer big enough for filming abroad

Charlie is listed for tomorrow's episode so I guess that'll be his actual exit. Hope they don't kill him off. Dot has already lost two grandsons. Ashley and Bradley (he was her adoptive grandson but still extremely close to him).

Keep the door open for a return.

That would of felt like a slight repeat of what happened with Janine and Michael.

I think Vincent will be asked by Ronnie to get rid of Charlie and he and Charlie come to some kind of deal instead - when he's finished his plan against the Mitchells he can have Matthew.

Hopefully Vincent isn't stupid enough. He has to be playing Ronnie himself. Why is he so obsessed with her. There has to be some reason surely?

I think Charlie will probably just "disappear" and we make our own conclusions. I don't think they need to do that to Dot losing someone else.. Like said above I would like Vincent to have a plan and that he will tell Charlie to stay away but not actually do anything. he might just tell Ronnie he has done something worse

That's interesting, because Friday's spoilers say

Spoiler
Vincent tells Ronnie her problem has been taken care of and she leads him upstairs for his reward

I gave up on Ronnie a long, long time ago.

Awful character.

Phil should die off an alchol related death, where it is long and he try to make amends with people he has hurt.

His liver regenerates itself just like his heart has.

TPTB apparently think he is a Time Lord along with all of his other supernatural powers, super-strength, super-sexual attraction, the remarkable ability to produce endless massive wads of cash out of thin air etc.

Spoiler

I'm hoping that Vincent doesn't go as far as I think that implies. Instead he does something like pay off Charlie with a nice sum of money and tells him not to return. Rather that the door is left open for a Cotton family member and Matthew's father. I doubt Vincent will be around forever and knowing the writing Ronnie would drive him away too.

We don't even get the obligatory Brighton/Saff End summer trips anymore

I think they've kept Charlie alive to keep the Cottons alive. No doubt he'll show up at some point again.

Oi Keyser mk2 what has King Phil got to do with Charlie

I kind of hope Charlie just coms back to say bye to Dot and then leaves, no murder or anything.

that ben said if Ronni did murder him, it would make his entrance and exits good and the rest rubbish
