I find it rather disturbing that its the female viewers willing this fake 'bromance/romance'

Ive noticed a trend with female viewers who seem to be obsessed with gay storylines, gay characters and homosexual undertones.

Its almost as if they get off on it.

Im gay before you start, but the constant focus of James sexuality and Austins relentless pursuit is just mind numbing and draining.

Neither of these two should win

Natasha needs to take the crown

"Disturbing" .... Really?

Considering the amount of heterosexual men who "get off" on the idea of two women, why would it be so surprising for some women to like the idea of two men?

Bizarre post.

I know many straight women who love to 'ship gay romances. Probably a bit better than being disgusted.

Why would it disturb you if this was the case?

You might be bored of this storyline but clearly a lot of people love it. Clearly a lot of gay men are enjoying it, too, going by the link to the Attitude piece on it the other day.

Anyway, so what if it's a thing that some heterosexual women dig a gay 'will they/won't they' story? As heartgraffiti said, it makes a change from straight guys getting off on lipstick lesbianism.

I regularly 'get off' on seeing them wrestle in their pants.

Go ahead and be disturbed.

A (very?) large percentage of the adult female populations like gay/friendship to gay storylines, gay porn, slash fiction etc etc. If it's disturbing..then there's a whole lotta disturbed women out there!

There has been a heavy push towards gay storylines in recent times on c5 , doesnt bother me but it seems to fit in with what they feel a lof of the audience want.

Bots pushes a lot of gay inuendo as well

Can we have that in English, for those of us who aren't quite so 'street'.

RE the OP, I agree completely. I've been nauseous at the fawning over the bromance from the get-go.

The hypocrisy of this place is quite astounding. Austin is married; yet women who have flirted with men who might or might not have had a girlfriend are CRUCIFIED on here.

James, though, the ear-biting thug, is a saint.

If there is ANY question at to James' sexuality then those people need to have a good long look at themselves. Really, it's reaching obsessive levels now!

I'm a straight male and I'm enjoying the Austin/James relationship - far more so than the Stevii/Chloe one which is supposed to be real but is duller than ditchwater.

Be it on BB, any other reality show or in my personal day to day life, I don't judge anyone on their sexual preference, I really couldn't care less. What I do want to know is if the said person seems like a decent human being, and if it turns out they are an arse then I have no time for him/her.

No mankini for Stevi and Bobby- ever, under any circumstances.

We cant win, if we're say Austin is creeping over James we're being homophobic and need to check our privilege
Now if we say we like watching their wrestling we're disturbingly pervy.

As for the two boys while I abstractly agree they are both in great shape they are two plastic looking bodies to me, fake tan, pumped up abs, zero body hair. I don't fancy gym bodies, I prefer athlete's or heavy manual labour induced-bodies where the muscle tone is developed more naturally and you can appreciate the delights of a farmers tan

yet another of so many threads about the posters rather than about the show.

Probably since Rylan was made sole presenter.

viewers not posters

And social interaction is a massive part of the BB experience.

Its partly why the show isn't as good anymore.

Thanks to social media its all just got so so nasty

I don't really see an issue with this thread; it's exploring the popularity of James and Austin which has been quite dominant this year.

I hear ya. I can't be doing with the 'I spend three hours a day at the gym and still talk like a 14 year old girl' type of male physique. Give me a gruff man with shovel-like hands manhandling me out of the way so he can change my spare tyre with his spare hand any day of the week.

Do you use your psychic powers to determine the views of these "viewers" ? Unless the "viewers" are posting about their, according to you, borderline obsession with gay storylines, how do you know that's what they are "getting off" on?
If they are posting it elsewhere why not state where they are publicising their views?
If it's not here where are the links to twitter or facebook etc to back up your theory?
