Not ashamed to say she was once one of my all time favourite housemates, i thought she was great through most of BB7, but ever since then she has been on this slow downward spiral!
I now cannot bear the woman and have found her appearances on BOTS over the past few years utterly mind numbing, she always has this same hatred for every single female housemate with a hint of controversy about them.
Aisleyne appears unhinged to me.
Her presence on twitter is embarrassing. and she only ever seems to be pictured out with the equally moronic and loathesome Nicola Mclean. Does anybody know just what job description these 2 now go under?! I do not understand what they actually do other than the very rare appearances on reality TV.

I agree, I really use to like ash, during her stint on big brother she was the housemate with the biggest heart, she stuck up for Suzanne when nikki and the others bullied her, she was always the voice of reason and she wouldn't pander to nikki and her diva strops
I used to follow her on Twitter but she posted a lot and her posts bored me so I quit following her so only saw her on BBBOTS
On bOTS she always come across nasty she even called Christopher hall the C word and he is probably the most decent guy to ever appear on big brother.
She turned into the bully and when I saw that clip of her bitching behind the scenes on bots about someone's dress and looks I thought she sounded awful, I didn't know who she was talking about to be fair but it was just the way she did it drunk and nasty
And then her latest stint on big brother her coming on to Danny and getting all bunny boiler over a bit of flirting and her nasty jibes about him on Twitter she just seems a completely different person

She's not 'unhinged', just an exceptionally nasty and mean-spirited drunk who should, frankly, never be allowed near the show again because she is singularly incapable of behaving herself.

She was put on the show to combat some of farahs nastiness. She did that but farah flipped out and hurt vicki michele in the process.

She was talking about Chloe Goodman, agree she sounded like a school yard, mean girl bully.

I think alcohol is the critical factor here: it seems to make her regress back to her 'know yourself' rude girl persona, which she demonstrated on her first ever VT, and which later so appalled her when Davina showed it back to her when she was evicted.

I remember her saying how bad that attitude was, and it was very different from how she conducted herself in the house: generally coming across as a decent person, having Susie's back and, ironically, being rightly shocked and indignant when bratty Grace furnished us with Big Brother's first liquid-hurling incident.

To be fair she came also came across as decent and articulate on Judge Rinder, which is what leads me to think that it's her relationship with alcohol that has got out of control. That and her questionable friend choices, which seem to nurture her nasty side.

Easy - she believed her own hype. The same thing happened with Jade, Nadia and countless others. She thinks because she was a popular ex-housemate that she's untouchable.

It was the malevolent influence of Amy Winehouse, that did for the ghetto princess. That and Les Dennis' hasty denials.

Even during her BB stint, the pedestalisation of St Aisleyne was utterly cringeworthy. She was a fair HM but no more than that.

Maybe after the show she started believing the hype.

I didn't care for her in her series. She always came across like a street thug and that's why she was dubbed trashleyne on the forums. She acted trashy, she spoke like a criminal and then once out she was caught falling out of taxis and her clothes...regularly.

...
That 'rude girl persona' was fake though, as became clear from Aisleyne's book:

"'I am like a princess, but at the same time, if you cross me, I will **** you up,' I told the cameras. That seemed like the kind of thing a ghetto princess might come out with. I said all sorts of pretty arrogant-sounding things and finished up by saying with a shrug, 'If you like it, you like it; if you don't, you don't.' ..."

I don't think she's completely different. She just seems to have lost many of the qualities that made her appealing in 2006.

What do you think she actually did to stick up for Susie when (supposedly) "nikki and the others bullied her", btw? Tell them to stop? She didn't do that.

She wasn't always a voice of reason in bb7, she did a fair amount of bitching behind backs, and she did as much 'pandering' as anyone when she sat stroking Nikki's hair and saying they were like sisters (in the period after Ash had returned from the HND).

She had enough likeable qualities, though, for her popularity to make some sense.

Unfortunately, she seems to have become increasingly coarse over the years since CBB and now seems to be another Nicola McClean, though one with less control over her behaviour.

From what i have read on the net is that it was Trashy who threw the drink and Michele got in the way, not Farah at all.

That's how I see it too and I don't like either of them, never have, never will.

I don't like people calling her Trashleyne either, it says more about those calling her that than it does Ais.

Yes, she tried to combat it by throwing champagne towards Farrah. That isn't combating it, that is escalating it.

Back to the name of this topic.

Aisleyne has always been this way, even in her own series. I never got the love for her at all. She must be really good at fooling people into believing she is some sort of hero like figure.

What about Farrah, do you think it is OK for her to go around throwing glasses at people?

What makes you think i am defending Farrah ? this is a thread about Aisleyne, that is why i am talking about her. I think they are both idiots and should never be allowed on the show again.
