Update on twitter...Giovanni has liked a photo sent to him (the one where hes holding Georgia at the end of their AS in Blackpool) with the tag 'happy memories' ...actually pleased that hes done that publicly, shows hes not been put off with the hate. There has been a bit of it today, one accusing him of abusing his role as a teacher (as if Georgia is 12!) while stating that Georgia is a dirty slag as well. Nice.

On a lighter note, when the news came out about Paris and I was telling my eldest about it, my youngest (as usual) interrupted me to ask me what I was talking about. I told her that Giovanni was Georgias boyfriend now. Her reaction was too funny!.....an exasperated sigh and then 'I knew that ages ago mummy! Don't you remember he was her Prince in Beauty and the Beast? That means hes her boyfriend!'

Yet I never noticed Flavia getting the same stick?! I know Matt DA wasn't married nor was Jimmi, but both times she was in relationships - with Vincent when she got with Matt and wasn't she with Matt when she hooked up with Jimmi???

Your leetle one is so cute! I was watching part 13 and my son came raised his eyes from his homework and said "Georgia and Giovanni!". I told him they were boyfriend and girlfriend now and he said "Ewwww!". Mind you, he's in that phase that Girls=Satan.

As awful as those tweets were, they did come from the same person and there has been very little negative tweets today, so its dying down.

Vicsmum Yes if you have Giovannis name and go into 'Live' you see all his tweets. I have been checking his and Georgias over the past few days just to see how bad it is.....its definitely died down and is much better today.

I'm sure they're going to love the tour. Everyone usually does....and you know how much they loved SCD. Touring the UK is going to be their honeymoon period Wish they could do more than 2 dances....I need to see at least 3.

I would bet he's finding it extremely hard not to. Reading hurtful comments about yourself is one thing but reading vile things about someone you love? I bet the poor man is dying to defend Georgia (just the way her lovely sister is doing.) And as much as a part of me is thinking 'Go on Gio - defend her' the larger part of me is thinking 'Don't even give them the time of day.'

I think both he and Georgia are handling this perfectly - ignore the hate, don't even give them the time of day and just get on with it and be together. I hope they continue to do this.

I have just watched all Sergio's GG compilation videos twice over the last few days - and I just love watching Georgia and Giovanni full stop.

I am thrilled they seem to be together now - I predicted that would happen around the time of the second show - I think they tried very hard to remain brother and sister but it just wasn't going to happen. By the week before finals it was obvious to me that they were very much into each other in a very un-sibling way !
There is a shot of them in red on the stairs waiting to do the walk down at the beginning of the semi finals where I am sure they are really about to kiss !
It is part 13 at 22.25 !

I really think they were robbed - they should have won !

Hello All, Just a couple of things; I noticed a while ago that Georgia liked those motivational quotes that you get on t'intenet. And this one was put on her Instagram about a month or so ago. . Who knows the timing of everything (who cares?) but I just thought it was interesting...

Also, I don't know if this has been mentioned but I've found our friend Sergio on Twitter. Haven't tweeted him yet and not sure if he wants his info here on DS but if you're on twitter and want to follow him then click on my twitter symbol (the little bird on the profile) and check out the last person I followed. He writes a lot in Spanish so I thought it would be good for my homework, but his GG posts are in English.

I too was a latecomer to the thread but if I had found it sooner I would have spent a lot less time battling on the main forum during Strictly!!
We are all so grateful to Sergio for his brilliant efforts, it was beyond what I could have hoped for when I went into YouTube to see if any of the GG stuff had been uploaded & came across those!!
Nice to hear about your Strictly obsession!! A few years ago, if anyone had told me I would become addicted to a ballroom dancing show you would have had to pick me up off the floor laughing, but it kind of dragged me in around 2009 I think & now I won't miss an episode for anything!! This is the first year I've really invested myself in one couple though!! I just loved Georgia's attitude, enthusiasm & personality right from the start & over the weeks, grew to love Giovanni too!! They just WORK together somehow don't they!!
Anyway, you're certainly among friends & like minded people here!!
