Feeling a lot happier with the wee clips on tonight's ITT. GG were looking good and I loved their wee interview. They do seem to have a really and natural energy between them. Actually, all the interviews were good. Gethin's good...

Like the way Gio palmed off the difficult-for-a-foreigner Cod, Scampi or Whatever question to Gleb

I loved ITT tonight. My two favourite couples in one interview! Teams GG and Glita seem like good friends actually. And I got goosebumps when they showed GG's training with the music playing. I reckon it's going to be a beautiful performance.

The show was boring but that interview was quite cute. I think it helped that it was my four favourites.I loved Glebs 'too cool for this' response to the question as if to say 'why would a man like me know what these foods are?' and Georgia trying to explain them in the background.

I know a lot of people don't like Gleb and his 'aloofness' but I can't help but like him. His manner is like that of a beautiful, exotic cat in a world of over-eager friendly puppies.

Anita was a bit cheeky, wasn't she? 'I'm going out with both boys tonight'... then she remembered j u s t in time to invite Georgia too

They did all seem like good friends and it looks like there's much more time for everyone to share off-time together. Gio and Geo On The Big One...

Well I done usually go anywhere near the Daily Fail Dervla but I had a scroll through the pics and poor Team GG look frozen! My immediate thought was "Giovanni needs thicker trousers!"

Thanks for the link. You can tell who knew they would be a 'red carpet' and prepared (well played Anita) and those who dressed to travel.

Quite apart from the obvious (ie if anyone was 'at it' they wouldn't be so blatant after all the bad publicity) it's boring. Sorry, but it is. I don't think they are at all BTW, but more than that I don't really care and apart from how touchy feely she is and how awestruck he seems sometimes ...and I have my own theories on this which I wouldn't express here on DS (I like it here and I've been here too long to leave over a dance competition thankyouverymuch, I don't see any more chemistry than with many of the other couples. Probably just me though...

I hope Blackpool is a great night and don't get me wrong I'm sure GG will do well and it will be a great show, but I think I'm sort of Blackpooled out a bit now somehow..

LOL I noticed that too. The minute Giovanni read the question (and realised he didn't understand it) he was trying to catch Georgias eye to get her to help him out while others were chatting - he looked a bit worried!. In the end he sneeked it over to Gleb Bless him, for being bothered about it....he should have just been like Gleb and say he hasn't got a clue what they're talking about.


I'm beginning to realise that a lot of G & G supporters like Anita and Gleb too Gleb hasn't won me over quite as much as he has done with everyone else, but I do like him....and I really like Anita - and I like the 4 of them together. I think its a nice match (the 2 newbie pros from abroad) as they can relate to each other, as can the two chatty northern girls I'm pleased with their clip too - I don't think its going to be her best, but I think shes going to do a good enough job with it. And along with the music and looking gorgeous (don't know what they're wearing, but I'm confident they'll be looking gorgeous, they always are) I think it will please most.

Yes, I do think Teams GG and Glita share a lot of support. I do love both Giovanni and Gleb and find both of them funny in their own way. A lot of people were quick to write Giovanni off as a Vincent wannabe but have come to realise that he's got a character all of his own and he now seems the most popular of the new pros. I think Gleb is still a bit misunderstood tbh. He actually seems to have a great sense of humour and a lot of charisma if you can look beyond his appearance and the "he loves himself" line of thought. I'd be gutted if they weren't back next year.

The Lindy Hop group dance looks like it might feature Gio a bit more than previous group dances have done... His acting-y bits with angry chef Karen look fun. Kind of like the 'meta' of the youngest Pro being bottom of the kitchen pecking order too.

I think he actually lives in Italy doesn't he HD? I assume he's staying in London (someone mentioned he stays with Jo I think) and then travels to where ever Georgia is based. I think most of the pros travel to the celebs unless they are doing ITT in which case the celebs go to London.

I had presumed he was living in London while hes here, but then thought it would be easier for him to live in Manchester than having to do that travelling every day and wondered maybe if he was living up north. I suppose it works about the same as he doesn't have the travel at the weekends if hes in London and he I'm sure the weather suits him a bit better too

I would have guessed Gio would be based in Manchester ATM, would be quite a long trip to get from London to Manchester each morning.
Slightly nervous, but quietly confident about tonight - reckon it will be another good dance for G+G!

Morning VicsMum I have no idea, thats why I was asking. I thought it would make more sense being in Manchester for during the week, you want to get as much rehersal hours as possible. But then I thought about the pro rehearsals, ITT and the show at the weekend - and wasn't sure if he just travelled up during the week.


I'm quite confident she'll get through (hope I'm not wrong!) but I am a bit nervous about their performance - shes had such fabulous feedback in recent weeks, that I don't want them to face any negative comments. Don't want to see their little disappointed faces I still think they'll do a good job though, they always do. And I'd rather her keep her better dances for further down the line when she needs it most

(theres also a little part of me that thinks she might pull out an absolute stunner of a dance and surprise me!)

I'm exactly the same - they've set such a high standard that anything less is going to be a bit disappointing for them! Here's to hoping that she really does pull it out the bag and gets Craig to dust off that 10 paddle!

Oh I know there's no chance of you forgetting that I was just making the point that I don't think he's relocated here permanently. As for travelling - I was going off an interview Tristan did on his website where he explains that unless the celeb has to be in London to film ITT or do a dress rehearsal then it's the pros who travel to the celeb.
