Anne16 my first 'like' was also going to be the "Georgia ah yes Georgia, always on my mind" bit!! I agree with Sandy, Gio knew from day one!!

The black pudding scene could have been contrived & too 'staged' had it not been for that gorgeous, cute, mischievous smile on Georgia's face & also that Gio's face pulling clearly wasn't acted!!

The Waltz itself?
For just their second dance, Georgia's first attemot in ballroom hold I thought it was gorgeous!! Yes there were big issues with her frame & her head placement at times but the performance, the romance & above all the chemistry were there for all to see even then! Also Georgia was already starting to do wonderful things with her arms at times!!
The scores & comments I thought were just about fair for week 2 really!!
As a slight aside I thought it was a difficult choice of song for a Waltz, reason being this:
One of my first musical memories is listening with my big sis & my late Dad to a program called Marching & Waltzing & Dad explaining to us about counting to two or four beats fora March, but always three beats for a Waltz! It always stuck with me & I still do it now watching Strictly!! With this song I'm blowed if I can do the 123 beat to it!! Sorry for that little trip down memory lane everyone!!

Another little aside does anyone think the girl they focused on in the audience was Katie, Georgia's sister?

Agree with Nina, that was a gorgeous pro routine on the results show!!

Back to the Waltz scores briefly, the disappointment at the scores was obviously what led to that backstage clip where she apologises to Gio!! She had that crestfallen little face even then thinking she had let Gio down!!

Loved that little tiny clip on the results show where Kellie had hold of Georgia's hand!! As I've said before I developed a bit of a soft spot for Kellie simply because of how lovely she always was to Georgia, often cuddling her & giving her encouragement!!

My favourite bit of this ITT when Giovanni is trying out his Rumba technique on Zoe:

Loved it!! Made Georgia giggle too!!

I personally don't think Georgia was acting about Sean in that interview, she did seem very much 'still with him' at that time! I'm sure she fancied Gio but I don't believe there was more to it than that, whereas I think there was probably a lot more than that in Gio's mind!!

Finally (you'll all be glad to hear) I found it fascinating to see the early stages of that Rumba 'fall' I love so much!! No wonder she sometimes thought she couldn't do it!! The end result is still one of the most beautiful Strictly moments ever for me but it must have taken so much practice to get to that stage!!

Poor Kellie I know that she had some detractors but her heart seemed to be in the right place and in the semi and final herself and Kevin were on fire. Poor Kevin too three finals and no wins that's really tough.
Not sure if Giovanni was thinking about Georgia in that way at that stage because she had a boyfriend and it was his first year on Strictly, But no way were they "brother and sister" in the final either!

I did feel a little sorry for team KK as well on final night! They really couln't have put any more into Strictly yet for some strange reason a lot of people were really unkind about them, saying they shouldn't have been in the final Categorically untrue imo!!
You may be right about Gio, and as I say I certainly don't think there was anything going on in Georgia's mind at that stage, other than probably fancying Gio & enjoying his company!! Having said that I don't exactly think she was finding her training a chore or anything either

I think he took his responsibility seriously in that he was hired to train the celebrity he has been given to the best of his ability and as it was his first year he wanted to do it right. He wants to back later this year for his second series.
I don't think he was looking for a relationship at the start but that circumstances drew them together as the series went on

He certainly did a magnificent job, not only teaching her to dance, but handling her emotional streak & building her confidence as well, whilst also working her to her limit, knowing just how good she was capable of being on the show!!
As much as I hate the thought of him dancing with someone else next year, I guess the real test of his prowess as a teacher will come the year he gets a duffer contestant!! He has a good sense of humour which could help him in that!!

I'll take an Alison Hammond type, for him this year if her gets a less able type, loads of fun. A nightmare if he gets a Kirsty Gallagher type.

You've all done a great job on posting on Team GG Part 3 so just to add my few thoughts:

It wasn't my favourite week for them but having watched it a good few more times its growing on me. I can see that Georgia is self-conscious and a little nervous - she almost seems vulnerable this week. I think that Giovanni gives her a little nod of approval as he reaches her after her opening spins and then a gorgeous smile just before they get into hold. The choreography is very romantic and difficult for such an early week and their connection is plain to see - Bruno really was in love with their partnership from the beginning. Georgia runs back too quickly to him at the end and I think this is mentioned the next week when Giovanni makes her hold her finishing position on the floor for longer. Poor Georgia looks so upset at the scores and Gio too but he attempts a brave face! Love them on ITT and Zoe getting rather flustered!

One thing this week highlights for me perhaps more than any other is Georgia's transition from a vulnerable girl to the confident beautiful woman she became. That's what the love and guidance of a good man does I guess

This year I start new phases in my life. People can either support me or leave me alone.

Lots of tweets with pics of GG at to the Sheffield show last night which I am not clever enough to copy here - several people saying they were wonderful !

Lots of complimentary comments, pics and videos...mostly saying how professional they are - and such beautiful dancers. Its a shame Jay is winning it practically every single night - apart from it being boring, it would be so nice to see the likes of Georgia (and even Helen) who are producing fantastic dances to get it even once - the very least that they deserve. The thing is, I don't think even Jay enjoys winning it all the time. From all accounts he was beyond delighted when Anita won it. Hes a nice guy and hes good friends with them all. He knows how good they are at dancing and I'm sure he feels a tad awkward/embarassed getting it every night and would enjoy it more if the others got a turn. At least if its going to be him all the time (bar one or two shows) the others will just forget about winning it and enjoy the show and theres less of a chance that they'll be disappointed. And I know it doesn't really mean much, but it would just be so nice to see their reactions to winning it even just the once, I think they'd be so happy and excited.

Now onto Team GG video 3:
I've deliberately avoided multiple watching of this video because I know the waltz was when she got her lowest score and it was arguably their worst week - it means I'd only watched it once before rewatching yesterday so it felt like I was watching it for the first time...

The VT was great - their natural friendship, although scripted, had genuine moments and it does seem like just a close friendship at this stage; black pudding - yuck, would have pulled a far worse face than Giovanni at having to taste it (and his chocolate sausage description is an insult to both chocolate and sausages )

The dance - I think all of the judges mentioned something about the romance of it all and I fully agree - if it wasn't technically perfect it was still a very romantic and sweet dance... on a negative point I hated her dress, don't think it suited her and wasn't keen on the cravat thing around Giovanni's neck - although saying that everything else about his outfit was very well put together - he can make most things look good

The scores - Georgia's visible disappointment was quite upsetting to watch but it was lovely to see Giovanni try and put a brave face on things; her attitude to scoring changes from this show onwards though (from Gio's influence I imagine) and she is grateful regardless of what they score... probably easier to be thankful as at least we know they never get 6's from Craig or Darcy again

ITT - one of my favourite episodes for them actually, particularly Giovanni - I love his sense of humour, the way he doesn't take himself too seriously, and the way he's just so relaxed and comfortable... still hard to believe he only started speaking English fluently a month or two before that was shown... and I think he would be a perfect Italian James Bond (if ever one existed). The mention of Sean (I think it's the only time Zoe ever brings him up on ITT, apart from in VT's?) was slightly cringeworthy in retrospect but it's clear at this point Georgia is still happy in their relationship... Knowing what we know now, it will be interesting to see if we can track at what point things begin to change - I can fully admit that before the final I was oblivious to the GG attraction, but I admit how naive I was

Anyway, I'll just put it down to Georgia's acting skills being so convincing that she managed to fool me into thinking her great chemistry with Giovanni was simply good acting

I enjoy reading all the analysis Thanks for all the summaries, never got a chance to look at part 3 this time, but remember most of the vids by now!

I think they both found each other attractive and got on well together from day one. But as you say, she had a boyfriend and wasn't thinking along those lines. Giovanni mentioned in their first interview that without knowing what her dancing was like, her two other assets were going to be her height (good for spins!) and her beauty (which he was going to show off!). I think its his style to be romantic and sensual with his dances anyway, but he took it to the max with Georgia because of how she was. I'm sure he didn't mind it right enough, even in the early stages.

I know I shouldn't be skipping on to their next dance, but it was on ITT after their rumba that I first thought 'hes really attracted to her'. He talks about her being the 'lady James Bond' and as he does, he looks at her so admiringly. The camera goes back to Zoe, then back to him and he looks at her again. Georgia acts a bit bashful, smiling and looking down at which point Giovanni bites his lip. I thought that moment was a bit of a clue. (It was at this time that Giovanni put the rumba picture of him kissing Georgias neck as his background picture on twitter! Even for an Italian, I thought that was a bit bold and cheeky at the time!) I think he really did like that rumba. I noticed when he watched their 'Best Bits Vid' on ITT and Georgia did her back bend he bit his lip again (unfortunately it went straight on to Lens rant after that and spoiled the moment!)

BIB I hadn't noticed that so just watched it again - thanks Humpty and you are spot on!

One of my favourite ITT is definitely Giovanni defending their rumba - his clear favourite dance I think! I will have to wait until next week too to extol the rumba properly but it was the first week I properly noticed GG and I was speechless watching it the first time!

I loved him defending the rumba as well. He did love that rumba and was so proud of Georgia in that dance (especially nailing those spins). You could see that in the way he applauded her when Craig pointed it out - and this explains his reaction to the comments. Its such a pity that their mood after such a fantastic, dramatic dance that he was so proud of was ruined so quickly by Lens outburst. They weren't given time to enjoy and savour the moment after the dance - one that they'd put so much into. Shame, because the crowd really loved it.

Thanks to everyone for their waltz contributions. There's nothing left to say really. Gio at the beginning is swooningly handsome. Rhett Butler anyone? But much more attractive than Clark Gable, obviously. Georgia looks gorgeous in a shade of green that many of us wouldn't even attempt to wear, although I've seen dresses that fitted better! (Her Rumba dress for example). The choreo is lovely, and good things are beginning to happen, but I just felt that Georgia seemed very tense throughout the dance which detracted from what might have been. Georgia's sister Katy is in the audience, but Sean does not seem to be there - they were sitting together the previous week. Georgia confirms on ITT that he had been there for the Jive week, and I wonder whether there had already been some sort of upset.

I'm a bit puzzled about the missing heel leads which annoyed Len. I know nothing about dancing, but if they are so essential I wonder why Gio didn't teach them? Georgia seems to have been a quick learner. Or maybe he did and she just forgot, or couldn't manage them, on the night.

Tess's David Walliams' voice when she said that Georgia looked like 'a lady' made me laugh. They both looked so deflated with Claudia which leads me to think that things had gone nowhere near as well as they'd expected.

The results show pro-dance was, on reflection, probably my favourite of the season.

LOL I'm very observant when it comes to them two. His other favourite dance was the samba. Don't want to send you off again looking at videos Sandy, but you did ask about other lip biting moments (he also bites his lip watching Georgia doing her solo sassy Samba move in that ITT best bits vid too)

Totally agree about what you said about Georgia (and others) winning the tour at least once like you said, I'm sure jay would be more than happy for Georgia and Helen to have a win or 2 and probably feels a little awkward about winning nearly every show! He does seem like such a lovely guy and I can certainly see why he captured people's hearts!

You are beady-eyed Humpty We need more of this guidance please re ITT! I thought I had spotted most of the looks and moments but I missed a lot I think! One thing I did notice though is that they never seemd to sit too closely together during ITT (apart of course from the two ITT in the final week)

Another thought: Giovanni now seems to be with the same management company as Craig R-H. Is that significant in terms of future projects / theatre work maybe or am I heading off on a random tangent?
