Coming from a non-Corrie fan, I was pleasantly surprised by tonight's episode. The acting was great from all involved.

Yeah. Was nervous for them, but they pulled it out the bag. Can't have been easy with what's happening behind the scenes at the moment.
I thought there was going to be a twist with Lloyd and Andrea though? |

Yes, better than expected. Pity about a couple of sound problems and Bev Callard proving once and for all she just can't act but 8/10 from me.

It was great, minus the odd sound issue.

I was totally surprised at Kylie killing Callum. I thought it would be Jason or Tony.
No obvious fluffed lines or 'Adam' moments, so congrats to the cast! |

The plot was as expected and predictable but the acting was superb and I really enjoyed it.
The Lloyd stuff was unnecessary but a fantastic episode |

I thought cast and crew all did a really excellent job, kudos to them.
![]() ![]() My favourite bit of the whole ep though had to be the sublime Roy, who normally 'eschews' exclamation marks, going TAP TAP TAP TAP TAP TAP on his laptop to the bus company. ![]() ![]() ![]()

I thought Sarah, Kylie and David were outstanding. I forgot it was live and was absorbed in the storyline as it was unfolding. Brilliant!

It was very very well done. Lots of noted absences but I suppose everyone couldn't be on set for a live one.
The Platts were fab, as was Callum. The scene with him and Sarah grappling was very realistic and I expect she'll have the bruises to prove it. They should all feel proud and best of luck to the 3 who filmed their last scenes tonight. Ps, Haley said she in another recorded scene after this eve, perhaps there is a twist! |

Loved it. Absolutely loved it and no one is more surprised than me as I've gone right off Corrie lately.
I thought the majority of the actors (well, certainly those featuring in the main storylines) really upped their game with special kudos to Jack P Shepard and David Nielson who delivered two sublime but completely different performances. Tina O'Brien surprised me by how good she was too. How hard would that attacking scene have been for her and Sean Ward to get right? No second chances there it had to look real but also the pressure to make sure she wasn't really injured as she had the rest of the show to complete! No pressure guys eh? I wondered what the hell was happening when he just fell on her and was wondering if all the stress had given him a heart attack or summat (lost some of my hearing on a flight yesterday so didn't hear the whack!) then realised that someone had clonked him over the head so after that it was just who had done it and the way the camera slowly panned onto Kylie was very effective (who was also excellent this episode), I bet it was only a matter of seconds but it felt like ages before we found out who delivered the fatal blow.We had more great scenes between Carla and Roy (those two are chalk and cheese but I adore their relationship) and I never, EVER thought I'd be happy seeing Roy kiss another woman after Hayley but I have to admit that I loved Roy and Cathy's reactions after their little peck - sitting their like stunned, naughty kids (to my surprise Cathy is growing on me, I wish she had just been brought in as a regular character without all that hoarding business).I think Sue Cleaver's (Eileen) tears were real when saying goodbye to Lloyd - and what a send off HE had, TPTB must have liked him a lot lol! All-in-all a great episode which was well acted and delivered on all counts IMO. Edited: forgot to mention Tony and Todd, enjoyed the scene where the car exploded (it went all a bit Hollywood ) but their scenes were good too.
