Jack P Shepherd, Paula Lane and Tina O Brien as David, Kylie and Sarah were amazing in this episode IMO and really shone.

They were, just a shame the storyline is pants.

Thankfully a new boss is coming soon, hopefully will sort out the Sarah character as Tina displayed tonight she is much better than the material she has been given since her return. It's all fine and good having a bimbo self absorbed character when it makes sense but considering her history it never has to me.

You forget Roy.

He had the most dialogue. But then again he has acted in many theatre productions.

I thought they were outstanding and so was Callum.

I think there was only one shaky scene in the rovers that izzy was faffing with her bag and sinead in the cafe that were weak.

I thought david Nielson (Roy) was also outstanding he is a brilliant actor but I felt at times he was a little less Roy than normal.

and last but not least I thought Antony Cotton was good better than Daniel Brocklebank (he was shaking that much so was the tray ) In fact seeing as I am about to get verbally battered I will say he seemed much more natural and dare I say it better and less camp than Sean normally is.

Just goes to show and confirm its not the cast or blackburn thats the problem its the writers and storylines

must admit I don't get that, she had a decent life and job In Italy and come back as a proper dimwit and workng in the pub with no ambition. the whole reasonbethany ran away was cos she was too busy working and being career focused.

was thinking that they are gonna put Eva back in the rovers and maybe Sarah will work in the shop.

they deffo need to do more with her

Totally agree. Especially Sarah who cried on cue.

I thought the episode was brilliant, but yes I thought David Neilson was being a bit overly aggressive as Roy in the scenes with the bus. Probably adrenalin.

Yes he did. And the most complicated, wordy dialogue too.

It did seem a bit out of character for Roy to be so aggressive, I agree.

He was overly aggressive on purpose.
He was trying to make sense of his blossoming feelings for cathy and not wanting to be disloyal to hayley.

I took it as inner turmoil.

They were brilliant. Tina O'Brien stood out for me.

Also, what about that fight scene between Sarah and Callum? That would have been rehearsed to death but I'd imagine adrenaline on the night could have pushed the actors to be more aggressive.

Roy, Sarah, Callum and Kylie were all brilliantly acted. The fight scene was superb. Sarah being emotional and frightened was done so well by Tina O'Brien. Anna Windass looked so good too. Her hair and make up really suited her. The only bits I wasn't keen on were Lloyd and Andrea plus Sean Tully looking like he was suffering from diarrhea. The other actors were good but Sean Ward, Paula Lane and Tina O'Brien were better than good, they were amazing. They did really well. I actually thought the three of them did better in the live than they do the rest of the time! I think the Platts are better without Gail. I like Audrey though. The acting from all the Platts is ruined by Gail and her acting like a middle aged "little girl". I would prefer it if Gail moved in with Audrey and we see less of her.

Agree.

I think that Jack is outstanding - have done ever since he was a little kid. He is a natural, charismatic actor who also has the presence to carry off interviews and being a Corrie spokesman as 'himself'.

He and o'Brien have a natural, believable chemistry as siblings, probably forged in having worked together since children.

Paula Lane is just great, full stop.

Wow what a great point. I actually forgot about Gail and thoroughly enjoyed the 3 Platts in their scenes. Actually hats off to Callum too and I can't believe I'm saying that

I thought the way Callum was grabbing Sarah when she was on the floor, and when she bit him on the hand was brilliantly done. The worst thing would've been if it had looked as rehearsed as we know it was and was too tentative but Sean Ward really went for it! Sarah's fear was brilliantly realised by Tina O'Brien too.

Never mind the big three. Anna's big two were the best thing of the entire episode.
