Well it be a case of who hasn't killed someone or hasn't helped move a dead body... What happened to day to day flawed soap characters... Is murder what get's the viewers these days..Corrie has another at least once a year now... Characters we have watched for years are now bad

Honestly I love murder plots but I understand how it can be tedious if it occurs every year. As a non-Corrie watcher however, I did enjoy how the ending wasn't the death and that we got to see the characters panicking and deciding what to do with the body, live.

However I do understand that regular Corrie viewers thought Callum was killed off too soon into the episode and that he didn't interact with enough people.

I said exactly the same last week, too much violence and muder.

Murders, affairs and surprise babies are the only story lines that gets written these days in soaps. Plus the obligatory explosion/fire.

Yes, it's been done to death (if you pardon the pun). Murders are extremely rare events......it's only one in every 100,000 people who are murdered in any given year.
