The BOTS production team are to blame for this shameful incident. They KNEW there was going to be trouble when they booked Aisleyne and Farah on the same show.

There should be a massive re-think about the spin-off show. It should return to the surreal silliness of the Big Mouth days.

They already banned Pete Burns, they should now ban Aisleyne, Helen Wood, Nicola McClean and all the other unstable no-marks.

They should only book professional actors, comedians and journalists - people who can articulate themselves, offer insight, entertain and be trusted to behave in an appropriate manner.

The freak show/asylum/bear pit needs to stop. And I hope this incident turns out to be the catalyst for change.

The whole problem is Rylan.

He forms a strong bond with these former housemates like slapper guttermouth Aisleyne and Co.

They're invited onto the show regularly and behave in a disgusting manner.

I have not watched one single BOTS show this CBB season.

Can't abide Rylan's constant love-in with himself. His prancing about. Can't abide the clique.

Can't stand the bloke at the front of the audience in the glasses and auburn toupee.

Is he still there?

The whole show needs to be revamped. But unfortunately this will never happen because C5 won't get rid of Rylan.

I don't think Rylan is to blame - he's only doing his paymaster's bidding. Big Brother allowed him to become a TV presenter and he's turned out to be a pretty good one in my opinion.

Ryan's friendly to all the panellists - that's his job. He doesn't book the guests or decide the content.

I'm sorry but, regardless of whether you like Rylan or not, the blame for the show rests squarely on the producer's shoulders.

A new producer should be appointed with the remit to make the show less confrontational.

Yes, but he hangs out with them, and he gets his 'mates' on the show. Even his mother last series.

BOTS is too much about him and his influence on who appears on the panel.

Realistically the problem isn't just BOTS. The whole concept of the show in recent years has been one hinged on acrimony. HMs seem to be selected to create controversy and 90% of tasks now centre on creating conflict rather than entertainment. The spin-off show is just a continuation of the creation of factions engaging in conflict. The producers need to step back and rethink the whole sorry mess if it it is to have any real future.

CBB has to change. Aggression and foul behaviour are encouraged on the show; some HMS seem to be selected for their instability and then set off like landmines by BB's manipulations. Given all this, what happened on BOTS has an inevitability about it.
They should consider getting rid of hard faced clapped out sex workers and men like Austin who has no more idea of how to be a grown up than fly in the air.
If that happens, then BOTS will be fixed as well.

I agree. It's easy to put the blame solely on the producers though. If we carry on watching the show then we are all complicit. I've supported some pretty awful HMs in my time but this is what BB does to you if you let it - your own standards of decency are gradually lowered year on year as what is deemed as acceptable gets worse and worse. (It actually beggars belief that people have sunk so low that they are defending and/or excusing a pensioner getting attacked with a glass.)

Grotesque monstrosities like Farrah, Aisleyne, Jenna, Austin, Helen, Marc etc seem to attract a lot of support from a certain element. It's always the same names you see gleefully trying to defend/excuse their latest misdemeanours, even bullying and physical violence. Maybe the producers just think they are giving the public what they want.

Hang on, this is Big Brother, not Songs of Praise. Gawd help us if we go back to the days of Jack Dee and Mark Owen. And I never cease to be amazed by viewers who can't tell the difference between bullying and just being badly behaved. Marc was no Conor and Farrah was no Helen.

I think what is more annoying is the 2 faced nature of the controller of channel 5, making a big deal about not wanting Helen Woods in his life so banning her from Channel 5, quite rightly, but then allowing Farrah Abraham in the show who is actually worse (never thought there would be someone worse, but channel 5 found it), Total double standards in the aim to get ratings from watching people argue. I have actually enjoyed watching the relationship between Austin and James play out, the weirdness of Chlovie and evreyone giving their advice, the two faced nature of Jenna and how she winds people up, the arguments aren't always the best bit of the show and Channel 4 should remember that. perhaps Sherrie has been amazingly funny and Gail was as amusing in the show as on the panel in CBBOTs, we wouldn't know cos 90% of what we see is the arguments, gets tiring after a while - light and shade is needed methinks.
