So it looks like were on course for another vacuous winner.

This show is really suffering under social media and the teen vote.

Teen girls will see a good looking boy of a similar age to themselves and they 'will' vote for them. No matter how untalented, manipulative, nasty, vicious or deceitful.

James proven to be disloyal, deceitful, a liar, narcissistic and manipulative

Congratulations James.

Your genes did a wonderful job making you beautiful. What an achievement.

I dispair i really do

The Apprentice alumni that have made their way to CBB have been woeful (Luisa YUCK and Hopkins DOUBLE YUCK) ....but I don't mind James.

i wanted janice to win but as she is too busy training for the highland chair fling, then out of who is left - Austin.

he might be a nob but there is something endearing about him all the same, the others are just meh.....

Do you think?

I think it is pretty open. Any of Natasha, James or Austin looks possible and I wouldn't rule out Chloe and Stevi either unfortunately.

What are the odds and polls saying? I know what the poll on here says but DS is invariably wrong. It seems the poster community here aren't part of the herd.

Surely to get a non vacuous winner you'd have to get non vacuous contestants in a non vacuous show..........................................just a thought

PS If you don't like Specsavers there are other opticians

James has been great value this series, involved in arguments, nice moments, bromance and sticking up for people. A genuine all round good guy who preens a little too much, but we all have our vices!

Whether he wins or not or whether you like him or not, it must be agreed he has been great value.

well said, Damon. I feel more shocked today, remembering that James has actually for real thrown Austin under the bus, not once but 3 times ... the 'you don't know me', the telling him off all the time (eg when Austin was clearly grieving about his brother), and then nominating him.

James's 'my grandad taught me right from wrong' seems to be missing any kind of lessons about care, loyalty, and listening, as James has actually stomped all over Austin, and I do not feel he is at all a worthy winner. The only thing I feel would actually redress the balance is if Austin won. Austin has brought something new and positive to BB, and has clearly made a journey and learnt a lot; James hasn't, but instead has just been stubborn, disloyal, resistant, all the things you rightly list. It's James has lessons to learn, as it's Austin teaching HIM about listening, care, loyalty and positive change. The person in the most pain in the house was Austin, and James most certainly hasn't stood by him.

Happy for James or Natasha to win. Think they have stayed true to themselves. I like Austin too. Top 3.

James has been an excellent housemate. Who deserves it more than him?

Ooh that sounds like a story from the Bible. Of course the term 'thrown under a bus' wouldn't have been used to describe Jesus and his friends....especially not in the King James' version.

Yeah, but Austin is a controlling, abusive, bullying individual. Not a nice guy at all in truth.

Looks like James or Natasha, I'd be OK with either of them. I haven't had any faves this series really, just "OMG not them!" housemates.

This forum usually likes gameplayers so James should be a popular winner if he hasn't blown it by being perceived as a backstabber.

It is indeed a sad fact that society views being good looking as some kind of talent, or achievement, valued probably more than any other, However I think there is more to James than that, he does seem like a nice lad.

That said, despite being behind James for most of the series, I was a bit disappointed in his giggly flirting with Austin (a married man that he knows fancies him) ...and then saying "Why me?" - I think he is trying to milk the vote.
