James proven to be disloyal, deceitful, a liar, narcissistic and manipulative

Congratulations James.

Yes it would be much better if some foul mouthed gobshite like Austin wins would it not ?

agree with this, austin has been a bit of a d**k at times but their bromance has been hysterical to watch, i want james to win because hes been consistent and comes across as a genuinely nice guy

James's 'my grandad taught me right from wrong' seems to be missing any kind of lessons about care, loyalty, and listening, as James has actually stomped all over Austin, and I do not feel he is at all a worthy winner. The only thing I feel would actually redress the balance is if Austin won. Austin has brought something new and positive to BB, and has clearly made a journey and learnt a lot; James hasn't, but instead has just been stubborn, disloyal, resistant, all the things you rightly list. It's James has lessons to learn, as it's Austin teaching HIM about listening, care, loyalty and positive change. The person in the most pain in the house was Austin, and James most certainly hasn't stood by him.”

So because you (and others) have decided that Austin is James' best friend then James should show Austin unconditional loyalty, caring and support. Why? How come it is you (and others) who gets to decide who James has as friends.

I guess James saying it ad nauseum might be a clue too.

(In the house of course...)

At no point have I heard him express best friend status to Austin. Nor have I heard him pledge the unconditional support that might go with that status. In fact he made it quite clear, politely and without nastiness when Austin was presuming a friendship into the future, that he was not yet ready to make that commitment on the ground that they don't know each other that well.

I don't believe James could have been anymore honest and clear with Austin about how he viewed their relationship at this point.

Totally agree. He was very clear about it, and then Austen (who doesn't listen) banged on and on about how James was wrong and how he needed to qualify his (already) explicit statement with more reasons and justifications. Familiarity does indeed breed contempt! Step back Austen and wait for agreement (if it ever comes) before you batter people over head with your opinions and tunnel vision perception on how people should behave and react!

His genes also made him charming snd intelligent. He was the only HM to take on Farrah
when the others kept their heads down, the only one who could temper that oaf Austin's moods. He is sociable and kept his cool at all times. The bromance was the highlight of the series.
What more can be asked of a winner?

Oh for goodness sake, stop being so over dramatic. It's a tv show, so what if he or any of the others win, does it really matter ? i hardly think it's something to get so down about.

By the way, i am a James fan and i am not a teen girl. I don't know why you assume it's mostly teens that vote anyway, i think you'll find it's adults that are voting mainly.

I hate to say it but this really does seem to be an 'American thing'..that awful Visage monster was saying the same yesterday..if someone is your 'friend' you stand by them no matter what. Arguably James did..he told him he was being an a-hole. In 'American', however, seemingly, he should have said..oh that's OK because your my fwiend..take that to include a rape or a murder and see how it pegs out............

I really like Michelle but one would have thought she would have learned a lesson from her own experience.

In the microcosm of the house she palled up with Katie Hopkins and supported her loyally. Based on the narrow information she had about Katie in the house that was probably a reasonable thing to do. Once out of the house Michelle gets a broader perspective and having zoomed out now sees a different view of Katie H. A view that is totally inconsistent with much of who Michelle is or what she believes.

Within a day or two of her exit she is apologising for being taken in and putting her hands up and saying, with good self-effacing humour I might add, "I get it now I get it"

You would think having yoked her cart to someone she didn't know very well and having misjudged so profoundly, she would have more understanding and respect for a housemate who is taking a more cautious view of what the real nature of his acquaintanceship might be or might bring.

I don't think she's learned a thing t.b.h. I thought I liked her before she did CBB but I now find her 'reasoning' dubious at best and I really don't buy into her damage limitation over Hopkins at all.

Yeah. While I find him insufferably smug and condescending he has played it mostly well, even if I cringe every time he makes his sales pitch and then walks away when he realises the person is not buying.

But nomming Austin was too much gameplay for me. You don't nom your mate. You just don't, unless you're ruthless and cold. So any lukewarm support I might have given him for playing a good game went right there.

I love Austin...but James was right to nominate him.

I never thought for one moment that Austin would go.

Wish they could both win...but James has the edge with me.

James is a decent guy who is mates with everybody in the house. He could have nominated his other mates, but he chose to nominate the two nastiest housemates.

I hope he wins, don't think he will though

I wouldn't mind a Natasha win either, and If I try and forget the Janice things, I wouldn't have minded Austin either.

The other three.... no.

I don't mind if James wins, he has played a fairly good game. I would prefer Natasha because I feel she has been fair throughout and she seems like a nice woman.

Sorry, are we watching the same show? Not sure what channel you're watching. This is Big Brother. Channel 5, right?

Where was this proved? I'd love to see the evidence.

I know, honey. I find it exhausting when people look at a situation and see something that isn't there. It's just insanely weird to me.

Don't despair, though. It'll be over in a few hours and then you'll have to project all your twisted perceptions onto something else; perhaps even the real world!

I want James to win.

I wouldn't 'regret' it at all.
