I see no indication that James has changed either. He doesn't really seem to feel any empathy - most of all for his supposed 'love you like a brother' best friend. He uses other housemates to make speeches directly to the viewers and he seems just about the kind of vain, shallow, dim individual who would punch and kick the head of someone who had the temerity to talk to his girlfriend.
His grandiose, punctilious, sanctimonious lectures to other housemates about their behaviour shows quite mammoth lack of self-awareness for someone with a criminal record, in my opinion.”
Sigh.
He did it, he's admitted it, he's talked about it, he's come to terms with it, he's CHANGED and is not that person anymore.
He's been badly behaved, and is not now. On CBB he has been open to everyone and tried to get to know them and not judged them in any shallow way.
I don't know what on earth he can do to please you Patsy. It may be that he tries too hard BECAUSE he's had to work on himself, but it's not a terrible thing.
You'll have to find a much better reason than 'he was really bad six years ago', for me to dislike him.
