I'd rather than Chlovie to win over Austin. I just want nice people to win.

Hell, Sherie to win!

I want Perez to win it but he was too idle to turn up this time

What more can be asked of a winner?”

It's come to something when a married man's flirting with someone who's not his husband is the highlight of the series.

Now that's the James I've been watching.

And the sanctimony wouldn't be quite so unbearable if it wasn't coming from someone who assaults people and bites their ears while doing so.

I was waiting for Patsy to come up with the 6 years ago "ear biting" thing which James has already discussed and has been discussed in the media many times and he has got sorted out from.

Me too

He's appeared extremely far from 'thuggish' for a long time, indeed, he's collected, calm and decent. He has grown up and put it behind him. I salute him for that.

And want him to WIN.

Care to explain to me why and how other housemate's past indiscretions are perfectly acceptable for discussion (particularly Jenna's and Farrah') but James' aren't?

At any cost that Chloe thing and her beaver boyfriend she tags round with cannot win.

James is by far one of the better housemates and could have played the victim card so many times with Austin and his antics, He could have had him evicted if he was such a nasty manipulative scheming person.

James to win.

What discussion? There isn't anything to say, it's done and over, been admitted to and he's changed.

You just keep repeating it ad nauseum. Most don't even respond, because it's so obvious that it's just a repeated and pointless remark.

The same is not true for Jennah and Farrah, as they depend on their pasts, have not come to terms with them, not changed and this has, on occasion, revealed their deep seated lack of self awareness, and as such is current, and relevant. Not that I've seen much of it lately.

As far as I know, I never slated them about something they have done on the outside. I don't care Farrah had sex with James Deen and I don't care that Jenna is a pornstar. In fact Jenna was my fave HM on entry.

James has spoken about this before (during the Apprentice was on air.

And "discussion"?

Not much if you repeat the same thing. It's the same thing as me saying "she's a pornstar though" or "she had a kid at 16" everytime I wanted to slate the girls, but I didn't. I slated them for their behaviour in the house.

'What discussion?' is absolutely right. No-one wants to talk about James' past, because it doesn't sit well with the role he has been assigned in the show; that of the British Knight standing up to the Big, Bad, Loud Americans. I see no indication that James has changed either. He doesn't really seem to feel any empathy - most of all for his supposed 'love you like a brother' best friend. He uses other housemates to make speeches directly to the viewers and he seems just about the kind of vain, shallow, dim individual who would punch and kick the head of someone who had the temerity to talk to his girlfriend.

His grandiose, punctilious, sanctimonious lectures to other housemates about their behaviour shows quite mammoth lack of self-awareness for someone with a criminal record, in my opinion.

I don't know anything about it. What happened, please? I'll google if it's too much trouble.

Sigh.

He did it, he's admitted it, he's talked about it, he's come to terms with it, he's CHANGED and is not that person anymore.

He's been badly behaved, and is not now. On CBB he has been open to everyone and tried to get to know them and not judged them in any shallow way.

I don't know what on earth he can do to please you Patsy. It may be that he tries too hard BECAUSE he's had to work on himself, but it's not a terrible thing.

You'll have to find a much better reason than 'he was really bad six years ago', for me to dislike him.

I'm lazy..just in from College..so not into a big debate.

I liked James until his nomination of Austin ,he can nom whome he wants.

It was his sanctiminious, self righteous, risable reason that made me puke.

He's as transparent as a pane of ugly glass....

He's being lined up by C5 for a show next year...
Welcome to your CBB winner.

He's under no obligation to please me.

I think, even in the post you quoted, I gave quite a few reasons to dislike him that happened in the last three weeks that had nothing to do with what he did six years ago. He was incredibly cold and sanctimonious towards Austin right throughout the (extremely disingenuous) selection of Janice to save and his subsequent nomination of Austin.

From the very beginning, he would be all 'I'm trying really hard with you, Farrah, to show you how to be a better person' before going to the garden to bitch with others and twist what she had said and how she had said it.

Pretty much - but as I've said many times; he's obviously played a blinder.

'Twas obvious from Day One. He's the same sanctimonious cold-eyed preener now as he was then and he has this in the bag.

I cannot understand why anybody would get so angry at the possibilty of James winning Big Brother. Some people on here are acting like he is really horrible person, i think people need to get a little perspective.
