says Ben Frow, the controller of Channel 5 in August when banning her from all Channel 5 programmes, yet Farrah Abraham who is verbally and physically abusive, well that is just fine apparently! Double standards???

I don't know anything about Helen but that 36 year old Aisleyne woman lifted her hand to Farrah, and when you do that you better be ready to take what's coming.

She is a scumbag as well, but Channel 5 brought her on to the show to argue with her as most guests wouldn't lower themselves, almost to give some kind of comeuppance to the baddie, like they did when they brought Aisleyne into the house in the summer as well. It is pathetic.

Plus I personally don't think that throwing the contents of a glass of champagne requires the response of throwing glasses at someone, it does require some response verbally but not physically, but as I said, both scumbags, but my point is that channel 5 gave this comment about Helen wood, but then invite someone worse on.

How about a scumbag free series next year!

I am guessing he didn't make that statement as a random press release apropos nothing, but in response to a question or as part of an interview. You would have to ask the same question about Farah (and indeed others) to establish double standards.

I didn't want her in it in the first place.

Why? he did answer a question at the Edinburgh Television Festival, but he went as far as to say that he banned her from all Channel 5 programmes. He wasn't talking about her specifically I'm sure, it is about the type of person she is, controversial, aggressive, intimidating and abusive - why else would he ban her, after asking her back twice. I presume he didn't want the controversy of calling someone a rapist - but instead is happy to have someone that will throw a glass at someone and get physical.

It looks to be a fine line between getting controversial HMs who will be entertaining & controversial HMs who will push the boundries too far. Personally I'm not keen on the Farrah or Helen Wood kind of HM at all & agree with Ben Frow that life would be delightful without Helen Wood popping up with her foul mouth & disgusting attitude.

Totally agree, so why make a point of saying that and then inviting someone worse on. Controversial is good, lunatic, not so good, plus when you have someone so intimidating, it completely dulls the rest of the housemates, so the whole focus will be on the lunatic and how they intimidate everyone else. 2 summers go it was the Helen wood show, January the Perez show, this series the Jerrah Show. You lose a lot of the other "people watching" stuff you used to have when all focused on that one or two people the whole time.

Absolutely agree Betty, that's why I preferred CBB when it was more harmonious. The perma-rows are wearing.

Helen wood threw a drink" full of spit backs " over Danielle in a club.

Quote:
“Helen, 27, revealed she was let off with a caution but is annoyed she could have ended up being charged for common assault.

She then added: "Jesus, if I'd known it was going to head down that road, I'd have given her more than a cup full of spit backs and made it a full pint of Special Brew."”

I haven't been watching Cbb BB or Bbots I am glad to say. So I cannot comment on the show.

It doesn't sound like I have missed anything.

Helen Wood and her pass to the final was the final straw for me.

He also said he liked Perez but regrets Hopkins. If he's talking generally he wouldn't book Farrah, Tila and Jenna for this series and then set the theme as a battle!

Imo opinion he can be rude about Hopkins with minimal comeback. Wood had outstayed her welcome and was no more use to him, and isn't a celeb.

They don't usually list the banned folk - I think Victor's been banished for the time being for some of his comments last series. Ash won't be back now. There was no official comment on why the BBOTS regulars were banned a couple of series ago.

I either don't believe Frow or think he's incompetent.

You have saved yourself a lot of time and head shaking

This is my last series, and after the comedy of Helen appearing to ruin another civilian series and now this Farrah nonsense I'm leaving at just the right time I think

What did Helen do? no matter what it was, it is pretty much irrelavant in the overall picture of BB/CBB.

What happened to Tila was unforgivable and just C5/BB being stupid when they thought they were being smart
