I don't think I've posted as much on the forum this series for the simple reason I don't think I'm really having a discussion with anyone most of the time.
I write a post and I may as well be invisible as a wave of posts with a single-minded point of view just seem to swamp everything, so I think what's the point? It's not worth bothering with.
I just haven't felt a sense of a diversity of opinion, and most of the opinions this year seem to be more in line with BB's party line. So I feel like an alien on here and it's reassuring to see that at least a few people feel a little bit like I do.”
It's not just you. I'm finding the place literally hostile. It should be somewhere you can come and have a discussion; it always has been for me until this series.
I completely agree with the first bit in bold. I disagreed with one poster who I normally get on well with and another four arrived to back them up and ask me what my problem was.
There's no diversity of opinion. I haven't had one fun, banter-ish exchange this year, and that's what I like DSBB for. I'm not allowed to partake, apparently, because I'm on the wrong side of the argument. It's insidious and unpleasant and I've never seen it quite this bad.
Second bit in bold - that's the really worrying thing about it. We used to have a majority on here who could see through the production narrative.
