I feel the same way, this is the first time I've not really been on the same wavelength as the majority of the board. I wonder if the UK vs USA theme has anything to do with it. I'm not English (well, I'm half English but I don't live in England). I wonder if a lot of UK posters are being way more forgiving with the British housemates than usual simply because of some misguided sense of patriotism

Yes absolutely. This us vs them has had a profound affect on the forum from my point of view. I've had to point out way too many times that a couple of contestants on a teevee show does not represent 300 million people. *sigh*

Any more than any contestants from the UK represent 70 million people.

If some of the sweeping generalisations that are currently being made on an hourly basis on here about Americans were being made about the Irish I'd have gotten so irate that I'd end up being banned, castigated for my rumoured assault of Vicki Michelle, slandered over my big butt and locked in a room for 48 hours with Stevie and Chloe Jasmine.

They sow the seeds of trouble and when they reap what they sowed they don't like it. Well what do they expect when they invite trashy mouthy talent free women onto shows like CBB instead of proper genuine celebs? I also had to shake my head in disbelief last night when watching the late night live feed of James, Austin and Natasha having a pillow fight in the bedroom in good spirits with not an ounce of malice and then BB coming over the tannoy to tell them to stop it immediately more than once. They have some weird ideas about what is and isn't acceptable behaviour.

Obviously forum discussion is dominated by a minority of people who are willing to take sides (in spite of the lack of video evidence and having to rely on selective hearsay and their own prejudices)....especially those who have invested heavily in the protagonists.

I suspect they're wasting their time and the footage will just confirm that all the protagonists (and I include production staff in that group) embarrassed themselves.

Since Farrah was evicted Bots has been more worthy of our time than the main show.
Be even better if they didn't censor the interesting bits
