He shouldn't even have reached the final, and he should have been given a final, formal warning for the what he behaved towards Janice.

At least Austin was so popular he finished 2nd.

It's almost as bad as if Conor had finished 2nd in bb13.

Yes. If Farrah and to a lesser extent Jenna were disliked for their behaviour, then Austin should have received far more criticism for some of his.

A small victory for people who don't think sixty year old women should be tied to a post and lashed at least.

He's getting off very easily from biased Emma in this interview.

Small mercies. Saw through his bitchiness and nastiness from the beginning but still understood why he was popular. However, for him to still come 2nd after his rant at Janice the other night. I'm baffled

That's the silver lining in James winning I guess

Emma has given up even pretending to be impartial.

Emma has her pecking order in category of housemates she likes.

Austin fell into the second category behind amazing older housemates

He didn't even deserve second he was a nasty bully, violent outbursts and then goes for the sympathy and pity and tries to make it about him. Whether james was playing a game or not I don't know but I think James is a nice guy ...

Yes, that is one rather big consolation. I think James is a very poor winner but Austin would have been much worse. He behaved disgustingly at times, but got the predictably easy ride from Emma.

I only saw one HL show but in it he came across as one of the most nasty, rude and manipulative people to have ever set foot in the house. The way he used his Mum and brother to try and excuse his obnoxious meltdown over being nominated was shameful.

I can't say I liked James much either but if he stopped Austin winning then it's fine with me.

The public seemed to like him.

It's sickening that Emma thinks Austin should have won.

Here, here. It was a relief that James won especially when Natasha finished 3rd.

That's a pity Jinty You missed a treat as he was a star of most of the rest of the shows.

I think Emma must have been watching all of the highlight shows as she seems to love him like I do

Every cloud and all that, was surprised he got so close to the end, a lot of naive people must have got sucked into that bromance b/s

Austin was far too LOUD annoying and, often, unpleasant to be a star in my eyes.

He "starred" only because BB insisted on showing so much of him. It was like he'd stepped into the gap when Farrah stopped being so unpleasant so much of the time.

I watched them and disagree with you and with Emma.
