Yes, that is one rather big consolation. I think James is a very poor winner but Austin would have been much worse. He behaved disgustingly at times, but got the predictably easy ride from Emma.

I only saw one HL show but in it he came across as one of the most nasty, rude and manipulative people to have ever set foot in the house. The way he used his Mum and brother to try and excuse his obnoxious meltdown over being nominated was shameful.

I can't say I liked James much either but if he stopped Austin winning then it's fine with me.

The public seemed to like him.

Well I'm a member of the public and I love him Gutted he didn't win but thrilled too with him making 2nd place

I think Emma must have been watching all of the highlight shows as she seems to love him like I do

Every cloud and all that, was surprised he got so close to the end, a lot of naive people must have got sucked into that bromance b/s

Austin was far too LOUD annoying and, often, unpleasant to be a star in my eyes.

He "starred" only because BB insisted on showing so much of him. It was like he'd stepped into the gap when Farrah stopped being so unpleasant so much of the time.
