Yes but now she's hurled a chair at someone

I know I think it's because she sometimes looked and often acted around 80 years old

Janice is... normal?

Ok then.

Such sensitive souls - Janice was a bloody horror and she is exactly what she was called, why is age relevant when calling someone a cont -she is and always has been

nice to see james won. I'm glad it wasn't chloe and stevie or natasha, and even tho it would have been nice to see Austin win, he was the runner up so I'm happy.

I like Austin.

BUT.....He should have received a FINAL WARNING from BB for his outburst & language to Janice that night.

Austin's contribution warranted a top spot imo.

Yes he had his moment's but overall he's a good guy.

My top two finished at the top for once........shock horror.

He would kick off get very very nasty then say sorry and promise he wouldnt do it again, then all again the next day its a replay. For me he has learned nowt, he even has to make his appologies all about him not his target.

James played him well, defuse his drive to kick off over and over with humor.

I am very happy he finished in top 2, he was the biggest character of the final lot and was more three dimensional than some of the safer cautious housemates. He was far from perfect (horrible temper) but he was more open and interesting than many of the others.

C***-spouting, chair wielding, professional WUM Janice Dickinson. Poor defenceless woman my arse!”

I'd missed the whole C*** thing from Janice and was shocked when they reshowed it. What Austin did was properly disgusting and hideous but Janice was hardly innocent.

He showed a lot of remorse for his actions, he flies off the handle but does show regret, he was the winner for me this year.”

I agree. Hated Helen, hated Farrah, hated Jenna when she was being vile, but I really, really like Austin. Do I think he went overboard that night? Yes. But can I see where his anger/frustration/sadness came from? Completely. I think it's quite clear he is sorry, and feels embarrassed about that night. I think others in there said things for attention and to make a show, where as I honestly think all of his hurt and anger at all times came form a genuine place, unlike Farrah's or Helen's need to be rude and vile just for the sake of being rude and vile.

He gave all of himself to the show, his good and bad bits. He didn't curb any part of himself to try and look better to win votes. He was fully deserving of being at least top two, in my opinion.

Congratulations to Austin on a well-deserved second place - Just a pity he couldn't quite pip the utterly fake James but a good showing none-the-less.

She did speak to Austin that way and a lot of the other housemates. I don't think it had anything to do with Gender, I think it had everything to do with Austin being a good lad. He and Janice will be good friends on the outside - she said that herself - they had a love/hate vibe going on - but they both understand how reality shows work - they got airtime and both ended up in a good ranking

He should have won, I did not agree with some of his language but he was a brilliant HM and was genuine as he showed us all sides of him,James was fake IMO.

That she is not Myra Hindley is not the point. The point is that automatic respect of your elders is a nonsense. People are worthy/not worthy of respect depending upon their character and actions and regardless of their age.

This. This belief that you should respect everyone who is older than you simply because they are older than you, is ridiculous.

On many occasions in there, Janice has shown a lack of respect for her other housemates, yet the majority have pandered to her and let it slide. Right from the get go, Janice was patronising towards Austin over his age and gay right's issues, but that seems to have been forgotten by so many. He hasn't let it slide, and whilst some of his language was below the belt, I don't blame him for losing his cool with her.

Have a heart - a FINAL WARNING from BB stays on your criminal record for five years, and must be disclosed to all potential employers. It can quickly become a vicious circle and before you know it poor Austen will be back in the house

I personally would not use the c word regarding anybody but certainly not towards an individual alot older than me. And no I am not ageist., people on here have called Jenna "old" at 41 as a way of putting her down which is simply absurd.

If a lady Janice's age is acting badly and chooses to use the c word herself that is a reflection of her character. But I think more of myself to lower myself to using such foul language against someone.

If anyone recalls Austin's tirade against Janice, the c word was not the only shocking thing about it. The whole outburst was hostile to the extreme, full of venom and indicative of misogyny.

I have no idea why anyone likes Austin, maybe it is a superficial thing in regards to his good looks because his character is truly appalling. I would feel truly ashamed to speak to anyone the way he spoke to Janice- even James told him that he felt he took things too far in that regard and he did.

I wouldn't say it was indicative of misogyny. I would say it was indicative of mommy issues. Different thing.

I don't think his character is appalling. I think his character is flawed and complex, but essentially good-hearted.

One personality clash ≠ monster.

You know what, I think it had NOTHING to do with Misogyny - he was hurt - I felt the anger was not aimed at Janice - he was angry with someone much closer. #armchairpsychology

Obviously you just dislike the guy end of! But the majority of viewing voters are less judgemental and able to recognise that we are all flawed as humans and make mistakes. It takes a lot stronger person to be able to recognise their hurting and be able to genuinely apologise. And most of us saw how vulnerable he was at that time.
And if Janice was able to recognise his genuiness and praise him following her eviction and she lived with him 24 hours a day with him. Not viewed a heavily edited 1 hour show.
As for your comment about misogyny, I think you need to look up the definition.

Nearly all of them should have been removed but then there would be no show.
