Robbie Jackson's return to EE...
Not impressed and why's he talking in that stupid hoarse whisper? Just a case of bringing back a dud from years ago just for the sake of it.

He was auditioning for The Horse Whisperer 2 but misread the script?

He's always had that sort it quiet whisper -esque voice.
Its also not for the sake of it, its to facilitate Carols exit, which short of David coming back for her is far better than the standard in the back of a black cab we usually get. |

You're not, I do too. He's old skool EastEnders, its pointless bringing him back fulltime, but he's only back breifly, and as I say, id rather see Robbie back for a few episodes, be reminded of EE 'wayback when..' & see Carol, an EE stalwart and part of the very foundation of Enders given a different send off to the clichéd Black Cab exit to Julias theme.....

Thanks. |

Sonia was shocked to see Robbie stealing from her purse yet last year she stole money from a charity fundraiser

I'm enjoying seeing Robbie again, I'd much rather he stayed on the square than Sonia.

It's only for a couple of episodes, so not the end of the world, it's nice to see past characters even if it's only briefly, I agree I don't see him as a full time character but for Carol's exit it's nice to see the past revisit.

I never understood why people dislike Robbie, I think he is a good character.
The Jacksons in general are a reallu underrated family, it's disappointing Sonis will be the only one left soon. |

It is realistic to see family members return once in a while; I just wish it wasn't for that tired old cliché of his wife having left him / robbed him blind, as is looking inevitable.
Robbie was never much cop so if he could return whence he came taking Sonia, Rebecca and Tina with him that would be a bonus. That it's Carol that is in fact departing is a real shame. |

It has to be said though, Robbie and Wellard were legendary. Loved the reference tonight saying he's come a long way from sweeping roads, completely forgot about that

Are we supposed to just remember his back story? I assume that little kid is his, but who are the others he keeps avoiding talk/contact with? I don't even know where he's been all this time.

I have really enjoyed Robbie's return and I think there is a place for him in the show full time.
