BB mainly attracts unknowns trying to breakthrough, washed up has beens and those who have been out of the limelight for a while and need a career boost. We never did see any A listers. You say "nowadays" like they used to. They didn't at all. If you say Mark Owen, it doesn't count because back then it had been around 6 years since Take That, and he would be seen as a "another has been" it was after CBB where they got back together.
We had: Claire Sweeney, Anthea Turner, Keith Duffy (another has been at the time), Vanessa Feltz, Goldie, Sue Perkins, Melinda Messenger, Bez, Caprice, Jeremy, Kenzie, Lisa, Faria, Maggot, George Galloway, Preston, Rula, Traci.
Those are from CBB1-CBB4 alone. We have had people better than those people on C5. Then look at CBB5-CBB7 who had awful selections. Katia? Nicola T?
Then when you look at CBB9 onwards (not counting CBB8 because the selection wasn't great), then generally the calibre have been better.
There has been no real A lister if you discount Katie Price (lets be honest everyone knows her here), Vinnie Jones, Ivana Trump, Michael Madsen, Janice Dickinson and Gary Busey. They would be 6 of the closest, and 4 of them were from C5 series.
