I think with Anita it's just that for some people she's the least familiar, so the least likely to have an inbuilt fanbase. I don't think it's any comment on her as a person or a dancer. Personally I think she'll score too highly with the judges to be in any danger, and that people will take to her and Gleb as the show goes on, even if they don't know her at the start.

I agree that Iwan might be in trouble, even though he clearly didn't start yesterday as the first steps film was shown before that. But he's got a week to learn the next before the first vote.

It's great that this week, nobody goes, and anyone who has a rough dance has a chance to improve.

I am routing for Jameila along with others. I did not see Bear Gyrlis so don't have that as a reference point. Yes she is a bit of a media diva, but I think that she has 'cultivated image' and I hope the true person comes out during the dancing. Her and Tristan seem to be having great fun together!

I think this will be similar to 2012 with Pendleton. Iwan will have a shocker - i mean he looks appalling and has hardly had any training and will be bottom of the leaderboard. Carol and Jeremy who both have large fanbases will be just above him and Iwan will go I think.

I saw Jamelia on the Bear Grylls thing and she didn't do herself too many favours, but, come on, it was pretty full on, out of her comfort zone stuff. I don't think she was fake crying, either - she wasn't tough enough and found it really difficult, her tears seemed genuine to me. I've also seen her on things like 8 out of 10 Cats being the butt of the joke and being a good sport about it, so who knows what we'll see on Strictly, but I'm looking forward to this partnership. Tristan is incredibly patient and supportive, sh e seems to have natural ability and I like that she doesn't seem capable of editing herself. Even if she comes out with some nonsense at times, I'd sooner that than über-media trained Peter Andre. He makes my teeth itch.

I don't really have a problem with Jamelia. Yes, she struggled and moaned on Bear Grylls, but not everyone can handle those kind of situations. I think she will be more chilled out when she's in her comfort zone on stage.

As for the comments she made, they were blown way out of proportion in my opinion. What she said was tactless (but some of it had merit, we shouldn't be promoting unhealthy lifestyles), but people are acting like she killed someone.

I'm just going to let her dancing do the talking...I think this could be her chance to change her public perception.

My guess is that Jamelia will be good value, hope so anyway. I think she's going to go for this properly and the fact that she can dance will give her confidence, and stop her complaining, etc - unlike the survival programme. I remember liking her when she was a singer. A lot depends on whether she and Tristan gel as a team or not. I'd be surprised if she's in danger for a while.

I think she'll be worth her fee too. The Beeb know she's unpopular right now, so they'll probably ask her to play up the villain thing and turn it into an advantage. That way she can be the controversial contestant who can really dance, and will get people talking. Sort of like how Kelly Brook was a bossy, annoying contestant who wanted to break rules - but she was a fantastic dancer! If she hadn't have pulled out, I think the public would have carried her to the end.

I actually like Jamelia. .....I really don't understand why some people find her irritable ...she seems quite lovely.

No need to apologise! Your opinion is just as valid as everyone else's. She could well end up leaving early, I just felt she had a lot to offer in the competition

I think Iwan might struggle. I am praying it's not Jeremy as my six year old daughter loves him. When we watched the launch show I was waiting for her to pick one of the ladies to support but she is adamant about supporting him. I must admit my favourite bit of the group dance is when he is strutting his stuff and winks at the camera

I expect she will be one I support. I would personally love to see Georgia, Anita and Katie in the finals.

On balance, then, I'd say a Jeremy vs. Iwan bottom two, but given Jeremy'll have a Ballroom week 2 and Iwan a Latin, I wouldn't bet against Jeremy surviving.
