normally there are loads of "big brother is cancelled, there wont be another" or "emma quits big brother" treads along with the "worst ever" " i hated it" threads the day after (the fantasists never give up)

and normally they missed the bit at the end of the show where emma looks at the screen and says see you next year when we return... (just as they missed all the other bits which is why they didnt like what they saw)

BUT

emma while making it clear celeb big brother would be back in the new year & how to apply online for civilian summer bb... she did not say her normal "i will be back in the new year with cbb" only the show would be back and she ended it by saying "that's it for me"

and in bbots the awful rylan chat with emma ended at a strange point (emma seemed to not sync with the disjointed flow of rylans questions & half understood replies) with rylan thanking her saying he couldnt do the show without her...

so... has she quit!

I personally think it's been obvious since BB15. Just a case of when not if, and this series had it stamped all over it for me.

worse rylan at the end of bbots said goodbye to a leaving creating director and ended by saying he would be back for the next series of simply cbb rather than cbb-bots..

rylan replacing emma would be the death of anything grown up on the launch & eviction shows

AFAIK Emma said as recently as this spring that she has no plans to leave BBUK of her own accord and that she would have to be pushed, or words to that effect.

So I'd take that over any internet speculation at this stage. The assumption has been there for a while that she will leave, purely because her profile is rising. But it's just an assumption based on the fact that's how these things normally work.

The reality is if Emma wishes to continue doing it - and it fits into her schedule which it does - then she will, and that still appears to be the case.
