For instance Natalie teaches correct basics of ballroom and latin from week one whilst some other professionals go for easy points in early weeks glad hand side by side easy to do routines

I'd imagine that Karen and Janette are not as experienced with teaching correct technique. They both probably lean more towards just getting a routine done and using crowd-pleasing lifts and tricks.
