Arrested for gun possession

Helen Wood was arrested in October 2010 after police found gun parts in a package addressed in her name.

Wood was released without charge but her boyfriend Louis Larsson, 25, was jailed for five years for firearm offences.

How is Helen a "convict" when, as you say, she was released without charge?

I once bought a sausage roll from Greggs, it doesn't make me a baker.

Not only the above but I read early today that he got fined £6,000 in a Chesterfield court earlier this year over health and safety issues to do with some venue in the town that he and his father run. His father is also on the brink, or maybe now is a bankrupt allegedly.

I find the two stories rather hard to reconcile with the rather sweet and thoughtful young man in the CBB house.

What exactly, is the point of this thread, other than to seemingly cast aspersions which while factually correct, have no context to this forum or healthy discussion about housemates.

Can someone not win a TV show or even be a contestant on one without people digging up dirt for questionable reasons?

The thread title says so much and it's disturbing to say the least. Whatever happened to this place...

I find this post hard to reconcile with gracious acceptance of a winner.

Perhaps his criminal past has caught up with him. Usually does in life.
