Was Lloyds LIVE exit shoved in last minute owing to Simon Gregson being ill perhaps? Meaning they have not yet amended the previews, and new scenes in place of the lloyd/steve scenes have now been filmed and will be shown in place?

They'll probably edit out the scenes where Steve and Lloyd 'take a trip down memory lane', or else the production people will look very stoopid.

It's just Steve watching Robot Wars and talking to the telly.

Maybe its a bit like a dream sequence where a hungover Steve hallucinates a vision of Lloyd which he says goodbye too

I read exactly the same in the Radio Times. I expect it was the official storyline release for publication .. they were hardly to know what was going to happen on the live episode on Wednesday and the magazines go to press well in advance of the broadcasts.
For what it's worth, I thought the whole live episode was really good .. I recorded it and watched it later that evening and I'd almost forgotten it was live. I certainly wasn't blooper hunting as one is wont to do on these occasions, so that's accolade enough in my book! |

He didn't leave in the live episode. It was stated last week that they were getting the ferry the day after their leaving party.
Try again. |

Looks like the actor who plays Steve told Blackburn he didn't want to do the live episode months ago.
So the story was written to have Steve ill in bed on the night of the live episode. And his appearances carried on from then. |

Try again. I was lead to believe they were leaving that night, off to a hotel or whatever before getting on a ferry in the morning Its been poorly put together IMO Why drive off waving to everyone only to not go anywhere, and be back in the pub.. Where were they going in that car? |
