Just making a thread to see who's got one and your first thoughts.

I've said before that I'm happy with my 6 but seeing as we are getting the mrs a 6S for her birthday I'll probably end up with one too

I got 2 for my daughters, ones 19 and ones 15. It's important they have the newest iPhone apparently only chavs have Android lol. My oldest is at UNI an "apparently" you must have the latest iPad/MacBook/iPhone. Ohhh to be young again and the biggest issue you have is being cool lol.

I got mine this morning from Apple online. I had a nightmare setting it up when backing up from iCloud. Apps weren't downloading and my phone kept flickering between 3G and wifi. In the end I put the phone into recovery mode, got back to the beginning and set the phone up from new instead.

Been great since then. Going to try Apple Pay tomorrow!

Good stuff.

That's weird with the flicking between 3G and wifi, maybe it was a bug in your backup somewhere

I took delivery this morning of a 6S Plus to replace my 6. Delighted with it so far, particularly 3D Touch. Despite all the naysayers I consider it a very significant upgrade. The icing on the cake was discovering that a press on the keyboard turns on the trackpad feature which I thought was only on the iPad.

How you dealing with the Size? The 6s Plus or Sony Z5 will be my next phone?

I think one quickly adapts. Within hours my 6 seemed small.
However, the thing that tipped the balance for me in the decision to move up in size from the 6 was having an Apple Watch. This means I don't always have to have the phone on my person or in the same room.

I picked up my 6s Plus from an EE store today- getting it on contract with them worked out the best deal.

Still getting used to the size but when I had to go back to my 4s for a text (waiting for my number to transfer) it seemed so dinkey! 3D Touch has a lot of potential once app developers make use of it. Overall it's just nice to have a phone that doesn't lag, with great battery life, and a fantastic camera. Also pleased with EE 4G (coming from Three 3G) - first speed test I did came back at 70mpbs down and 40mpbs up- I think that'll do!

might of been poor wifi connection and it was using WIFI assist. best to switch that off to save eating your data without you realising. go to setting.mobile data and scroll right down to the bottom.

I suspect they will do the same as for 3G.
Just show "4G" For everything.
Field test mode might show you I guess.

Yeah I'm currently with Three 4g . Going to leave them for EE or Vodafone. Vodafone because I can get 20% off any contract.

Picked up a 6s this morning, took a whole 9 minutes from arriving at Apple Store to walking out with the new phone (even thought the shop was heaving, they seemed to have twice as many staff working as normal).

Very impressed with the updated phone so far.

Burning question...
Is there a scales app so you can weigh stuff with 3D Touch?

20% off what? presumably the data coverage if it's Vodafone

Boom Boom.........
Keep em coming.
If they keep enabling 4G masts in Cornwall though we'll have to find someone else to ridicule!

I'll stop mocking them when they have decent data coverage in the area of 98% population and lower call failure rates I promise. Currently though I wouldn't consider them as I'm mostly reliant on good data and find myself travelling quite a bit, not always in main cities.
