Delta Blues has had a hell of a run here!

Yep. It's another corker from deltablues who has clearly on a roll...

I'm immensely flattered but genuinely actually quite embarrassed.

And I've now typed and read "teapot" so many times it looks very weird.

And I bet that something's you didn't expect to say in relation to this year's Strictly!

With Evil Moira Ross in a Rainbow Wig and Jason Gilkison on board, it would be a brave - or foolish - person who ruled out the possibility entirely.

This post from tabithakitten in response to Littlegreen42 on the "well done Anita" thread!

Over here we have our "Wuzrobbed" section. This is currently quite popular although not quite as packed as it was in series 3 or 6. If you look closely, you may see some posters from those series with sleeping bags and picnic baskets. I sometimes visit here myself.

Close by the "Wuzrobbed" section you will see the "Pointless Outrage" section. This is where posters gather to carp about things over which they have no control and will never be able to change. You will notice a prevalence of "I can't believe...", "What the hell..." and "It's a fix, where do I complain?" Again, I may have been an occasional visitor.

Over here is the "Total Ringah" section. This is divided into those who dislike celebs with prior training and those who profess not to care as long as the dancing is good. You may observe a regular scattering of completely unsupported statements about the length and time celebrities may or may not have spent at stage school/dance classes/the Bolshoi Ballet/practising the macarena in front of their mirror.

Tucked away in the corner is the "Are X and Y shagging?" section. Like the "Total Ringah" section, this is liberally scattered with unfounded rumours.

This is the section that may interest you. It is our "X is easily the worst dancer and should go section". Early on in every series, this section is reserved for those posters who are bored of comedy contestants who seem to be surviving at the expense of the mediocre. Strangely, this section was not particularly well populated early this series. However, as the show moves into the latter stages, you will see that it becomes overrun with posters claiming that celebrities who were previously being praised now apparently dance worse than Ann Widdecombe after a bottle of gin. Hyperbole is the order of the day. Remember phrases such as "absolutely no technique" and "awful, awful footwork" and you'll be fine in here.

There are other sections but I think I've bombarded you enough for one visit. Feel free to mooch around at your leisure. Also, remember - it's always better if you don't praise one celebrity without dissing another one.

Enjoy .”

At the risk of turning this into the Deltablues Appreciation thread...

In responding to a post by AntoniaA, tabithakitten helpfully summarises some widely held viewer trust issues in the thread Why was Craig determined not to give that Paso a 10?

In the thread asking Jay fans how he has changed their lives, spider9 posted this witty retort that brings the gravitas back to the right level:
