Personalities
what do we find important about the personalities of the celebs?
to me Georgia May, she was really cheering for all the celebs who danced yesterday, and she's following Anthony Ogogo on twitter. but she's just a normal down to earth person. good luck to her, Ainsley and the others. i can't warm to Daniel, he's really trying to come over as a sweet person, but i don't think he's that genuine ( i could be wrong). ![]() Carol is really sweet and lovely, and i have seen her presenting the weather many times. lovely woman. what i said about Daniel, is also for Peter Andre, i can't warm to him either. Georgia i can warm to her easily, her standing there backstage, cheering for the others, she's just being genuine and honest

Personalities? It was confirmed to me that Daniel O'Donnell lacks one.

for me i like people who compete in Strictly must be sweet, genuine, down to earth and want to learn dancing. i look at the dancing, and Daniel O'Donnell looks stiff, even in a Waltz , his latin is gonna be a disaster.and they show parts at the end, of the celebs who are performing today, well Iwan looking forward to his training footage LOL, and Georgia's footage was from her first steps, but i know better that they have trained really good, and last week was their best training yet. ![]() but yes i have nerves for tonight's show, i'm just gonna enjoy it, and hope the judges like Georgia. please cheer for Georgia would you |

On last night's showing Daniel is very weak, personality wise ( and dance wise ) Carol is bubbly but a c***py dancer

I can't help thinking of Father Fitzgerald (Sean Barrett), in Father Ted when Daniel O'Donnell speaks. He's the one with the most boring voice used on the tannoy in the lingerie department sketch.

Personally, I found Anthony's enthusiasm and naturalness (no hiding his disappointment at the scores) and Anita's classy confidence the most appealing but everyone came over well and it seems like a good mix of personalities.

are you also looking forward to tonight's show? Georgia May's Voice reminds me a little of Abbey, but Georgia is more natural looking than Abbey. |

I think she is a very nice girl seemed very happy for everyone.
that's only because last year Pixie was my favourite, and she got shockingly eliminated with lack of votes. and i didn't support her enough, that's the reason i'm supporting Georgia now. so if i annoy anyone with my posts, my apologies

I liked Pixie last year too.
We haven't seen Georgia dance yet so I reserve judgement till then. She seemed a pleasant young woman and is a Lancashire lass which is just over the border from me so I hope she does well. We shall see. Last edited by Cpt James Kirk : 26-09-2015 at 12:48. Reason: Spelling |

It's going to take at least four shows for me to get to know the celebs properly unless they are really in your face or dull. Daniel unnerves me but perhaps I'm getting him wrong. Kellie already has great annoyance potential but I'm not going to judge her on one show. Everyone else .. great though I didn't care for Anita on the celeb Bake Off. Too competitive for me .. but we'll see. Helen was my fave last night. Liking her dancing and her personality.G

Personalities.
I liked Anita pre show and i was pleased with both her first dance and how she came across. Anthony and Oti seemed to get on really well and he seems a nice guy. Daniel has zero personality or charisma which probably explains why i've always found his music as dull as dishwater. Kellie and Helen were just there. I have no impressions at all of their personalities although i thought both danced well and Kellies dress was beautiful. Carols always a bit sacchrine sweet for my tastes and she smiles so frequently that it loses its meaning and starts to feel disingenuous. Tonights show I'm looking forward to seeing Peter and Ainsley. I like both of them. I also like Jeremy but can't say i'm looking forward to him dancing. Jamelia - only plus point is shes with Tristan. Jay - i'm hoping hes got a bit of get up and go personality wise but i haven't seen any evidence of it yet. Iwan - i hope he tones down his get up and go personality. I don't think i'm going to be supporting him though because hes with Ola and i've never rated her as a teacher or choreographer Georgia - i've no idea who she is or whats shes like but her voice irritates me. Then again so did Chelsea Healeys initially and i loved her eventually Kirsty - never liked her since i saw her on 'League of their Own' when she was so stuck up and fake Katie - going to wait and see |

Don't cry about it - just stop spamming every thread with your Georgia promos. They are annoying and - mostly - off topic.

Only going from last's night show (just the dancers we saw too rather than those in the background), I would say that:
Kellie seems a bit fake but it's possible that's just dodgy VT acting Anita is charming (best dance too imo) I liked Anthony's competitiveness and easy-going confidence, Carol has such a great smile and is okay with having a laugh at herself so I liked her too. Daniel is reserved and hides his emotions. I don't think that makes him dull or no personality but it does make it harder to warm to him. Who have I missed off lmao, wasn't there 6? I think that says it all. edit: googled and it's helen george. there's a bit of the manic pixie girl trope about her but a great waltz |

So far I've liked them all. Yes Daniel is bland (putting it mildly), but he seems OK. I think I will struggle to like Peter...he reminds me too much of Jason Donovan who thought he was a sure fire winner. I don't mind confidence, but some egos are just too big. Jamelia is another one I might struggle with.

Not looking forward to Peter Andre. I can imagine he will be tearful, crying because he is doing it for his children and get over emotional. Don't like him and cant imagine I will change my mind about him. Sorry.
