Someone (can't remember who) was confirmed to be doing the Foxtrot.

If Carol is potentially dancing the Foxtrot next week then she may be dancing to Singing in the Rain and then followed by a Mary Poppins routine for movie week if she gets through. I did not hear Foxtrot mentioned though.

Claudia outright said Carol had foxtrot next week.

Last week's week 2 dances were American Smooth, Foxtrot, Tango and Waltz for ballroom, and Cha-Cha-Cha, Charleston and Salsa for latin. The year before was the same minus foxtrot and based on what we know so far I'm expecting much the same this year.

The week 2 dances in 2013 were Salsa x2, Waltz x3, Tango x3, Charleston x2, Cha Cha x3, American Smooth x2. 2014 was identical except one of the Smooths was swapped for a Foxtrot.

Based on that, I am going to guess at the following:

If we have the same pattern as last year, it would mean that for the remaining latin dances we will have 2x Cha Cha Cha and 2x Charleston (we also had 2x Charleston in 2013, so that is a safe bet).

I'd rather they left out the Charleston and American Smooth - Foxtrot, Salsa, Cha-Cha-Cha, Waltz, Tango and Jive seems like enough for one week.

Jive was only done in week 2 in 2012. Based on what we already know I'm reasonably certain that the week 2 dances this year will be the same as the previous two.

I agree. Including the American Smooth is so unnecessary, as is the Charleston. They should be learning traditional ballroom dances in Weeks 1 and 2 and perhaps the Salsa.

I know, but repeating three of the week one dances and not the other doesn't make a great deal of sense to me, especially when they're introducing two non-10 dances (Salsa's been on Strictly so long that we can pretend it's one. Just about. Shhh) so early instead.

Only other thing I've seen on Twitter is that Anthony reckons his dance is 'nigh on impossible' for him to do.....................

What exactly is the extent of his shoulder injury? Is it completely impossible for him to use his bad arm at all?

Given that he most likely must have a Ballroom (Russell Grant/Holly Valance aside), and therefore take Ballroom hold, that doesn't really narrow it down with his shoulder.

I dislocated my shoulder when I was 15, and I was 19 before I could fully raise my arm above my head again...

I hope that's just 'day one of training' sort of talk and it will be OK when he gets the hang of it. If he can't do a waltz because of his arm, he just isn't fit enough to do the series, lovely as he is - I'd rather he did it when he was better. Or they have to agree something like the judges will agree to ignore his right (or left, I'm not sure now) arm not being in position, and he dance in a sling or something. It's not worth making his shoulder worse to do this show.

That is at least one correctly predicted. Makes it also much more likelier that Daniel will have the Charleston (can't see both the actresses have the same dance).

There is precedence for Craig not taking injuries into account (I'm thinking of Laila's rumba which he gave a 3, and to a lesser extent Patrick's salsa where he said he thought he could still have managed a flow with only one arm).

With one of my guesses now wrong, I'm going to switch my prediction to Kellie having the Charleston.

Having killed Jade Johnson's athletics career cold dead, the BBC could do well to ensure they don't end Anthony's boxing career too.

well you need two arms to do the waltz or any ballroom dance.
