That should be our quota of cha-chas for this week, and if Anita having waltz is correct there shouldn't be anyone else doing that either. So assuming the week 2 setup is the same as previous:

- The undeclared latins - Daniel and Kellie - should both be charleston

So it looks like Jay, Katie and Peter would all have the tango?

Interesting . I suspect that Ainsley will really go for it in his cha cha and we could be pleasantly surprised . I also think that Iwan will be fab . He seems the type who will be happy to just go for it full speed ahead .
Kellie will be really good too , but somehow I can't warm to her . No doubt that will change , it often does .
Jamelia will rock . This should suit her .
Kirsty I think will struggle . She is so tense she'll find it hard to just let rip in a salsa .
Helen might be rather good . Antony too .
Jeremy , Katie,Jay, Peter and Carol should do OK in ballroom . Janette (or someone) did say in a tweet last week that Peter is having to unlearn his normal tour show choreography and learn more controlled dancing .We'll see how that goes with ballroom . Katie will be fabulous I think , with Anton being so good at 'classical' ballroom .Yes, I'm expecting great things from Katie and Anton . Jeremy will do better at this pace and style and I think Jay will be a wee belter . Carol might struggle a bit but she's game .Anita will be fabulous of course .

Personally, I think that Daniel, Anthony, Jeremy, Iwan & Kirsty will probably all struggle (certainly Kirsty, if the launch show was any indication).

Some are difficult to predict (Anita, Jay, Helen), while I think that especially Peter, Ainsley, Jamelia and Katie will shine. Carol will do decent, while I expect another frantic dance from the K's.

We shall see on Wednesday, when the training vids (should) appear on ITT.

If Katie & Anton do have the Tango, is it too much to expect a piece of dramatic traditional music for it? I know Katie'd approve, music aficionado as she is, as would Anton, and it'd make a welcome change.

I couldn't agree more . I much prefer 'proper' tango music . I can't be bothered with all this squeezing modern pop/whatever into a tango routine . Just keep some dances traditional and STOP trying to do the Cowell rubbish of "making it your own" by messing with a perfectly good genre of music .

Either that, or rearrange the modern stuff to make it sound more Tango-y: I thought whoever did 'Voulez-Vous' for Ainsley's last week did a great job (and although I know this was done by another group, Sophie's AT from series 11 was awesome)

I'm all for traditional music for a tango, but I'd also love to see one done to Atomic by Blondie.

Have you ever considered that the producers may not use traditional music for dances because most people would not know the songs as they are not exactly played on the radio etc in some cases.
