Corrie - Is it possible Callum didn't die?
Just wondering...
Wrapped in a duvet which you could breathe in, put in manhole... perhaps he regained consciousness in the hole and then climbed out, but it was covered over before David or Kylie could check? And has gone abroad to plot revenge. They think he's there but he's not, etc...? Queue epic showdown later. Would be bonkers but funny.

I thought the same thing after the live episode, but he was clearly in there last night.

True, but David and Kylie grabbed him, they'd have surely noticed if it wasnt a body, lol.

He is alive, got out of the manhole, filled the duvet cover with something and ran.

They didn't really grab anything, they tried.

He's gone, he's dead, he's not coming back. The actor's latest exit interview makes that very clear.
This is (fortunately) not a Ross from ED situation. Time to move on. |

What if Sean Ward has filmed a scene set abroad?
Eventually Sarah or Kylie cracks (Sarah confesses to Billy?), the police dig up the hole and the body is some stuff weighing down a duvet? Callum nowhere to be found. Gail cries her new flat is destroyed. The Platts tell the police all about the drug dealing/threats/violence. An investigation is launched to find Callum. He comes back for a final showdown resulting in his actual death, obviously. Probably of his own making somehow. Maybe Kate Oates will take the storyline over. There is ZERO proof Callum is definitely dead from what we saw in Friday's ep. |

Lloyd didn't leave Corrie in that big red car, so anything is possible.

Did anyone notice why Steve McDonald, (Simon Gregson) never appeared in the live show?
He he was supposed to be involved in the storyline of his mate Lloyd Mullaney (Craig Charles) leaving the show. Apparently the actor is taking time off to recover from an illness. |

![]() ![]() We are just speculating! People said the same thing about Ross and then he turned back up lol ![]() Sean Ward has given a proper exit interview, from which it's clear he's sad to be leaving Corrie. Not to mention we saw his cold dead body at the bottom of the manhole again last night. Any 'speculation' aka wild fantasising about that belongs in the Fanfiction section.

There is ZERO proof Callum is definitely dead from what we saw in Friday's ep. Also, if Callum was alive there is no reason why he would fill the duvet with anything. It wouldn't be worth his time because anyone opening the hole expecting to find him there would soon find out he isn't in the duvet. |

He's definitely dead. I honestly don't see how he could not be. The live episode was unreal, that scene of Callum attacking Sarah was so chilling, I will forever remember it! However I was disappointed Callum was killed off in the first 15 minutes, it could easily have been left towards the end and we could've gotten a final showdown between him and David!

May be Jason and Tony got to the body and disposed off it before filling the hole.

If Callum is alive he surely can't be in a good way, what with a blow to the head plus going a day or two without food or water and not being treated.
But you never know, John Stape survived a fall from the hospital roof. Maybe in a few months we are going to have a storyline with the Platts receiving death threats from "Callum", only to turn out to be Gemma or someone. |

Do you know.... I know I'm not a regular contributor and my posts don't ever get answered or acknowledged - and that's ok, I see that this forum is hellishly cliquey - but I really wish people wouldn't be so, well, NASTY to others who are merely theorising/hoping/asking questions. They are ONLY SOAPS. They are NOT REAL. I thought this forum was a nice place to come to, to talk about scenes and characters, to discuss what you HOPE for a character you like - and unless any of you are a scriptwriter for the show in question, who are you to say "IT IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN, WILL YOU ALL SHUT UP???" or suchlike?
Nothing is cast in stone, and soaps are of course allowed that creativity that you wouldn't get in real life - so get off people's backs with all this "I'm the queen/king of the board and your posts are all stupid" mentality. |

Different situation. It soon became clear that ED were trolling us with their lies about Ross being dead and Michael Parr's own jokey 'fake-crying' comments.
