The point I was making is that he's the one contestant who is being scarcely mentioned in any threads. Nobody is talking about him at all - hence "the elephant in the room".

He certainly does - even Mr Moany, who really doesn't watch Strictly at all, saw them all making their entrances down the staircases and he said "Good grief - he doesn't look as if he's going to last long" ... then went off to check the odds on him being first out on the William Hill website!

I thought you meant he was the elephant in the room because of his extensive dance background - which no one has really seemed to mention. I think Helen is going to end up absorbing all of the "ringer" claims, just because she's a woman.

No, I have no idea if he has a dance background or not. I'd never even heard of him before i watched the launch show.
He just looks completely ill at ease with the whole thing but also somehow seems to be making absolutely no impression on anyone so far in terms of how he might perform.

There is no evidence of any serious dance training in his video. If anything, it doesn't look like he's had any at all. Or of he has, it wasn't serious.
Unless he is playing up to camera and faking his awkwardness.

Hardly extensive ! Just the usual boy band stuff not ballroom and Latin. Same for Peter and his pop videos. Nobody on the show is a ringer. Ballet is allowed so Helen and any of the other girls who've done it are safe from being labelled ringers. Pixie Lott suffered terribly and all for nothing other than ballet lessons, which the BBC are fine about. Really Nina, you should stop spouting inflammatory nonsense.
