Darcey's 6 For Katie?

Strangest mark of the night. I wasn't writing the marks down but I am pretty sure that she gave at least one more than Horwood for everyone else. Once Horwood gave 6 you would have expected another three 7's. Even that seemed low considering the comments.

Darcey's a terrible scorer and it's been obvious for a while. I didn't even think Katie's jive was that much cop but giving it the same score as Jeremy was bizarre.

I've long believed they just decide on overall positioning and divvy up the total marks between them accordingly. Craig has to be the lowest and Len has to reward decent foot work and sportsmen and penalise lifts but otherwise its fairly random.

Not a shock. I know not everyone agrees but sometimes Darcey scores dances unfairly. She has already said she would like a male winner this time.

I agree. To me, she does seem to mark some of the females down very unfairly, imo.

I've only just realised that was the same mark she gave to Jeremy. How utterly ridiculous.

Agreed with Craig, she was better then Jay tonight.

Well unfortunately, in the absence of a schedule of objective scoring criteria, the judging is always going to be subjective insread and it's apparent that amongst the four of them, they are looking for very different things, so the allocation of points often seems a bit wacky.

Frankly this week I don't think their scoring matters all that much, as nobody was going to be leaving anyway.
