Jamelia's score ???
21
![]() ![]() ![]() That was a bit harsh. ..especially since some couples have been overmarked..... Yes I know she's not everyone favourite cup of tea but the judges seemed unnecessarily harsh with their scoring imo. I thought her and Tristan did well for week 1. |

I agree. She is not my favourite by any means but thought unfair marks if compare to others.

She deserved 2-3 points higher. But the marking on the show has been off for awhile. Especially Darcy...she marked Jeremy higher than Anthony for example...just madness.

Jamelia's frame was very good she has things to work on but I thought it was a pretty good dance for week one. The score was low but she can make amends next week with her Latin. There are couples who will have to dance supremely well to get the marks they deserve while others will get special treatment. Just the way it is, unfortunately.

She has stuff to work on but so has literally everybody else... I enjoyed her waltz a lot. It should have got a higher mark.

Hopefully it Spurs her on to realise she has to concentrate as the judges will give her no leeway

I was really shocked by her scores too. I thought she did well with her dance, although not as good as I was expecting. But I thought she was going to get mostly 6's with a 7 or two 7's thrown in there.
I do think she will be more of a Latin girl, so I hope she nails it with her next routine. |

It did look better than the scores it got. To score it below Daniel seemed a bit unfair.

Immediately after her dance I said I would've given it a 7. I'm not too keen on her (atm at least) but a 4 was just far too harsh

I think Jamelia will be one of those who improve considerably as the weeks go by.

I thought it was about right personally.
Her feet were awful, completely wrong and never once closed. The attitude in the spin was so bad it was unrecongnisable, when I showed my Mother what it was supposed to be she couldn't believe it. I would have scored her five on that performance. |

I like the intro they gave her. Determined wipe out the stroppy Jamelia with incessant giggling...

Very loose use of the word "arabesque" employed. Ugh.
