Compared to Gary and Sharon they are like the Beckhams.

Gary and Sharon have 5 red heads, they could adopt Elly to make it a half dozen.

She would fit in well she looks like a younger Sharon.

Some might feel happier bringing along a few of their own ingredients it would be a bit much to expect them to bring along expensive cuts of meat just so Gregg can eat them.
Entering competitions must be an expensive hobby, the average chef is not well paid and they have to take time off.

I love all 3 of Elly's courses. We are having lamb for Xmas dinner, a whole leg for 2 of us and whatever the dogs can scrounge.

Better than turkey which tastes like a dried sock.

I always bring back a cat bag for Foxy he is happy chomping away during Boxing Day.

That was what inspired the remark, Elly's earnest round face on screen, memories of Sharon's.

Gary can make good money after this doing cooking demos, even Gregg does it and if people will pay for him they would pay more for a decent cook.

After cooking for critics and so call world famous chefs a third of the final vote will be left to Gregg.

I was tempted to try a ready stuffed turkey breast as it would not be so dry but the prospect of diving in to as much lamb as we want (like last year) won.

Matt's meal got no negatives, it will be hard to choose a winner.

Cooking demos with the MC:Pro trophy in front of him yes that will bring in some cash.

Matt's efforts looked far too simple to me.

It is all wrong, I doubt he really gets a third of the decision.

One small negative for Elly's started, a firm mousse. I want to know how she made the mint jelly. I would eat her dessert all on my own.

I would go with lamb but my sister doesn't like it.

Elly's dishes are better than what Matt put forward.

I'm surprised he is not sitting there judging on his own.

Gary's dishes are all very similar to what he has cooked before.

I think he will win unless they have decided it's Elly no matter what.

They could send him off and tell him he is the main judge then go with who M&M decide, it will be too late when he realises.

Production pay for ingredients.

Gary's dishes look good, starter and dessert especially.

That's fair and for what it costs to make a show it is a drop in the ocean.

Gary's dishes look good, starter and dessert especially.
His dishes were the best of the three, Elly for me second, Matt a distant third.

There is good money in it, even cruise ships employ chefs to do demos, Gregg was not far from here last year, I did not pay £50 to go.

There are lovely pieces of beef as well, I have bought sirloin for previous Christmases, my mother in law was shocked the first year, she thought topside was a treat..

Gary won.

It's a shame they don't say who finished the runner up.

He wouldn't have looked so much like a young Sean Connery in the flesh.

My mother normally burns a variety

We made it to the end before seven.

I must get out to the shops today.

I would like to know what they are doing a year later, especially the runners up.

You could help your mother using all your experience watching cooking shows, or at least use a timer on your phone and a meat thermometer.

Yes, I did not want my dreams destroyed by the reality of Gregg.

Goodnight Tan.

I am braving the M25 late this evening.

She has meat thermometers and my sister helps the cat appreciates their efforts.

I may go out it is preferable to going out on Christmas Eve and feeling terrible on Christmas Day.

Merry Christmas

My Christmas Eve was spent nursing a terrible hangover, I suffered like an old woman.

Merry Christmas!

To FK and Tan

I am not ready for tomorrow, dining room full of random stuff, no veg prepared, last present wrapped at midnight.

Currently there is a drunk asleep on the floor, I get mumbles when I suggest go to bed.

Morning Mazey

It sounds like your Christmas day will be hectic.

A mumbling drunk we have all been there.

Within minutes of posting the mumbler stirred now upstairs.

I will take it easy, it spoils the meal if I panic and get bad tempered, delegation is needed.
