I don't think it will get to 18 my guess is they will cut it to 13 or just abandon it.

If they do abandon it they normally show the remaining episodes during the summer.

Desserts can be time consuming, baking sponges etc then waiting for stuff to cool or set before the next stage.

I wonder if any contestant has been sacked after messing up on MC.

Often they are head chef in smaller places, the result must be known when they get permission to show the place of work.
