It isn't difficult but not having the opportunity to practice is the big difference. I would like them to show all the dishes because there will most likely be a disaster.
That is how they protect their favourites, they are not chosen for the tasting. I would not be surprised to learn they are given hints about what they need to be able to cook but some prefer to treat house life as a party. We are on S08 now, most of them will have watched some past series so they know what to expect.

I am terminally shy so I will go on a tv show instead of applying for a cookery course.

You could be on to something by not tasting all or showing us they tasted all who knows.

They must or should have practised cooking a wide variety of ingredients but as you say some won't bother.

She should get a prize for the worst sob story of the series.

Possibly it could beaten if Charlie tells us about the day he spent hours squeezing his spots.

Being in a car accident 16 years ago is stretching it a little, I was once run over by a Mini but don't bring it up.
I thought she was 16 when she had the accident but I am not going to check. Are you embarrassed to admit being run over by a Mini?

There is a Chloe where did she come from I have no memory of her.
She was featured in the team challenge last week but no back story.

Anastasia was shown a lot during the cooking as well as at home, she must be due for a run of success or an exit.

Poor Charlie, all that time outdoors golfing and it did nothing for his skin.

I did not see that, she looks older.

You were lucky they were not going fast.

The price of his time on MC? He has not been featured much today but he does not seem like a potential winner to me.

Rose's marmalade is not the best for flavour.

There is also a tradition of the one with advantage stuffing it up, not much of an advantage choosing an ingredient, in US or Canada show she would not have to cook.

Yep or it could have been a bus.

I don't think he will make the top 10 but like his fingers on his face he could squeeze in.

I haven't tried it.

Marmalade on toast is something I have once every blue moon.

The winner of that should be automatically put through to the immunity challenge.

75 minutes of cooking for nothing. If I was a contestant I would have headed out to the garden with a mug of tea and some cigarettes saying see you in 75 minutes.

.
I love marmalade on brown bread, earlier I finished the pot neighbours gave me from the West Midlands Museum, it had a lovely orange flavour. It took me forever to finish the last lots of Rose's I had, even the lime flavour was awful, too much gelatin, not enough fruit.

Matt is the favourite these days, early faves rarely win.

That is a good idea, makes it worth winning the first round.

Is that the first or second use of negative space in this series?

Miles and presentation. A sludge of bland colours.

I'm not sure, it was mentioned on MC:UK recently.

He even chose a plate of the same colour which made it look worse.

Yes, home made for them, it was on the bag which is long gone.

Con in top 3, he will be churning out pannacottas and stewed fruit to the end, he has cooked it before, neg space clinched it for him.

I went there last year it is an interesting place.

His one trick isn't being picked up on yet Heather should have made the top three instead of him.

Olivia looks like someone murdered her gerbil.

Tomorrow the van driver

Possibly it was MC UK not auditions for MCA that I saw it recently.

Miles is not suited to fancy stuff, hearty meals are more his style. They should have a winter warmer challenge.

Maybe he will get the chance to cook up a big pot of something for a team challenge.

Bright with a blue sky here which is always good to see on a Monday.

She or Chloe will go tomorrow, there are a lot of similar looking females.

The van driver has been studying nature to produce that green concoction.

Yep it's strange when you walk into the houses and there are people sitting there eating around a table dressed in Victorian clothes they then strike up a conversation with you about the daily news of 1880 odd.

He made something like it last year but red how the judges fawned over him after that.

That sounds like the Bunratty Folk Park in Co Clare, it has been going for > 20 years. http://www.shannonheritage.com/Bunra...rattyFolkPark/

He uses the same few methods all the time, only flavours and colours change.

Morning

The place is Co Clare is very similar.

I suppose one difference might be the industrial smell from the BCM it isn't overpowering but in certain areas it is like smelling road tar however the place does take a few hours to walk around.

Morning Tan

I woke up at 2.22, next thing it is 4.07.

Bunratty has a smell of turf fires and some of the shops are also bars, one of the cottages had an old lady in mobcap who told tales; she was from the my mother's home town, knew me, my sons were not surprised as they assumed everyone in Ireland knew my family.
