I still don't understand why as an incumbent president he is going through party primaries.

I think if the incumbent wants to run for a second term they get a free run unless a proportion of their party wants to challenge. The President would have to be unpopular and likely to lose the election for a challenge to succeed.

They must leave some open ends for S02 as it was broadcast weeks ago.
Rebecca must have been in something else to have landed a leading role in this.

SH was not on CBS, Fox may be less ambitious about viewing figures as I think it is a subscription channel in the USA.
