There are a few easy ones like those maybe they are not popular in Australia.
An Icelandic cake was difficult.

A sponge covered in chocolate and coconut.

Con came up short again the story of his life.
I love coconut, it looked nice, I must look up a recipe.

Con is making a strange pound cake, one of my aunts made one weekly, it was a fruit cake. Oops, he is correct.

Con's cake will be cooked on the outside and not in the middle.

He is now ditching it or not.

I am from a family who are terrible cooks.

All my aunts live in Ireland and are strange.

Not normally a good sign the judges don't like to be ignored.

I will be surprised if it is cooked in the middle.

Charlie also having cake problems.

Matt looks to be the only one who isn't in difficulty.

All my aunts on both sides were good cooks, one should have been a professional, I loved visiting her family.

Brett is making a lemon topping, it should be orange with carrot cake, I think Charlie is having problems for the edit.

Brett = Matt

Every time I visited people they only made things from cabbage and potatoes.

No matter what time of day.

They wouldn't have given Matt more praise if he was their long lost brother who owed them money.

I love gammon, cabbage and potatoes, the all day meal in my family is a fry up for unannounced visitors.

He is safe, they are giving Charlie a hard time just to build tension, he is another favourite, Con has been lucky to survive so many elimination rounds. His cake looked nice and I like a soggy cake.

Australia has a national shortage of chefs, he will be able to get a job in a kitchen.

Matt's cake was overdone, not sure I would like his marmalade in the middle.

Practical and nobody dislikes it so a good choice.

Con has been in most of the elimination challenges so his luck was bound to run out.

At least he got to see Marco and Nigella.

From just going on looks I would have chosen Con's cake but the judges decided it was him time to go.

Maybe he should have taken Nigella's advice.

I will skip Nigella and her MC it's not like she is a proper chef.

It's another damp morning here and it will be June in a few days.

Night Mazey

I would have sent Charlie home for a dry sponge and he is annoying then sent Matt out the door for his eyes and ear rings.

That reminds me, brother's birthday early June, I must think to get a card when shops are open.

I expect a nice day here.

Goodnight Tan

I just crawled in from a night out.

It is quite disturbing that I am sober at this time of morning.

The best that can be said of the winner is that he prevented the horrible smarmball crooner winning.

eta

Thanks for Browns.
