Nine contestants remaining and Brett is still there. He has lasted weeks longer than he should have.

A tough mystery box challenge, Chloe may have to get out the picture of her granny again.

He must be a better cook than he seems, he has not been in as many elimination rounds as Chloe or Elise. I would be very surprised if he was a finalist.

They have culled the names in the intro, only two who have gone are still there.

It has been a long time since the likes of Nidhi went even Charlie is a distant memory so they most likely think people would have forgotten them.

The first out Ashley was eliminated on May 5th.

She is young enough to have a great granny tucked away for emergencies, if all else fails, watery eyes will melt their heart and make me want to slap her. I will not be surprised if she does not use all the ingredients but gets away with it.

Butterscotch flavour on pork belly?

It's different and totally sickly.

2 months ago and long forgotten, I do not recall if Ashley was male or female.

Elise should take a blow torch gun to her onions.

All the cooking shows rave about pork belly, I am tempted to get some while son is here and see what he can do with it to make it edible.

That is a better idea than mine, I would have tried the microwave oven.

I don't like pork so haven't eaten it but it looks quite chewy.

Brett in the top three of that challenge a bit unexpected because Matt was so sure of his dish.

That jogged my memory, a hipster type I was glad to see go.

Brett is one of the chosen three, they have no excuse for not tasting all the dishes if they cut out speeches by the judges..

It's not like there are a room full of dishes it wouldn't have taken long to taste the other six.

Another advantage which gives no advantage.

I was hoping that Brett would go with cactus, I was waiting for a cactus parfait.

It is pathetic, choose a main ingredient from 3.

That was probably what he thought; half of them will make a cactus parfait (or ice cream afaiac) a couple may make cactus logs or spheres.

There isn't a lot else that can be done with it unless they chose to make a soup.

Neither have I and apricots are one of my favourite fruits, I make an apricot stuffing for lamb that guests have liked unfortunately as I would like to have lots left for me.

I think they had cactus in MC:US last year when they had 2 Mexican contestants.

Matt is being smart opting for a Middle Eastern dish, they use apricots quite a lot. I
am fed up with Theresa and yet another panic, almost as bad as Harry and his smugness.

I don't like people who return after being eliminated and then hang around.

Harry is very smug hopefully we will get to see him being eliminated soon.

She returned with the advantage of experience in pro kitchens which would probably have barred her from entry in the show.

I have been longing for Harry to have a disaster since week 1, still waiting.
