I don't remember so much music in the few episodes I have seen.
Convenient that she has a best seller and becomes wealthy, it allows for her to be independent of needing her job in future.

Another show which I heard good things about recently was 11.22.63 it was eight episodes in total.
It might be worth watching episode one sometime to see.
