Baldy tried pulling a fast one, I thought the deal was if he did not turn religious at the church. The "voice" command has worn off quickly in his case.
Technically the preacher is correct he did agree to serve God his change of mind was not part of the deal.

Apart from his playing a Dingle on Emmerdale he is mostly known for the part of Woody in the This is England film and various series of the same name.

I know I saw at least 2 parts of This is England but just a dim memory now.
I think I heard her interviewed about that film.
