His name is Jonathan LaPaglia he appears in the odd episode of this or that mostly in Australia.

His brother Anthony who is a slightly more well known actor probably pointed him to the job on Bones.

I hate Des but Kat is not much use, she is too bulky for most challenges.

It was partly because they had decided it was down to Kat or Des, that may change if there are more candidates arguing for survival.
