Right click on the sound icon near the clock, left click on sounds and then click on playback it should show the levels of sound for you to turn up or to tick..

The same thing can be done by left clicking the sound icon and clicking playback devices or open volume mixer to see if the various speakers are turned up.

Thanks, I tried all that, only a SPDIF interface device is available, all speakers are at almost max volume. I had this problem before, SBBA sorted it, the big headphones work well, my smaller in ear ones do not nor do the laptop speakers, it is a setting I cannot find.

The above sounds like a drivers update thingy there is a solution to that.

My Wednesday night has been spent drinking the solution to that is a Thursday off sick.

I have been home about 90 minutes, sad to leave Ireland, happy to see dogs.
