I have adblock, the black bar is narrow and there are no ads but it looks rather strong against the blue and the whole page (of DS )goes black when I refresh.

I got rid of it by

Left click on the red ABP thing and a list will pop up with select element to hide on it. If you click on that red boxes will pop up.

Move your arrow thing ( as you can see I'm not the most technical ) over the black top bar and when a red box surrounds it then left click on it and the black tool bar will disappear.

When it does another box with open up which you click on add element to hide rule.

Take your time when doing it because the red boxes are sneaky

That is where it goes wrong for me, select element to hide is not an option, I tried open blockable items and filter prefs but nothing like that happens.

When you have time give it a go it does work although for me the black tool bar appeared again briefly when I clicked on another page so I had to do it again.

Second time lucky and it has gone for good.

I may have made it sound more complicated than it is but it only takes a few seconds to do.
