Had gushing compliments on how beautiful and stunning they are? and how lucky their celeb male partner is to have them.?

I was irritated beyond belief at Tess and Claudia's lechereous comments about Gleb's appearance and then the shout out to his wife .."the mother of his child". Bizzare

The shout out to his wife seemed very hamfisted and like it had been clumsily added in by a HR person in Strictly Towers after a hurried read through of some of the staff policies and protocols.

You might have a point there...it really was very hamfisted.

Alesha Dixon seemed too think it was her role as judge to tell every female celeb how good they looked (as a confidence booster). I can't remember anything else Alesha every said honestly.

I'm guessing that the producers want to get away from the passive sexual objectification of women that is in all areas of society and reflected on Strictly (particularly in the Brucie era). I'm unconvinced that sexual objectification of men is the way to do that.

It felt a bit creepy and yucky, in fact very uncomfortable viewing but on the flip side when Katie Derham and Claudia were talking about Anton and his face I couldn't help smiling. The difference (I think) was respect and humour, Tess didn’t sound jovial or if there was a punch line to the joke, it sounded like she was circling her pray and would very willingly try and eat him alive given half a chance whereas Katie was having fun and just enjoying the moment.
Imagine if the BBC caught Anton and Gleb were caught speaking about a woman in the same way Tess. There would be total outrage, numerous complaints, a Daily Mail campaign and probably at least one sacking.
I enjoy banter and am a flirt but felt Tess dreadfully over stepped the mark.
It has just occurred to me, was it Tess and Claudia ad-libbing or was that piece scripted and Tess is just terrible at delivering that sort of line?

I think the Tess bit was spontaneous because if you listen you can hear her saying something along the lines of oh, sorry - not very professional.

Yeah, Arlene was never a judge on this show EVER

And yes, if it was the other way around then most of the (female) viewers would launch a campaign to get Len or the pro dancer in question sacked. But now it is twee and fun because the sexual hints are made about a man. It is sorta like feminism gone all lopsided ("men are sexist pigs, so can we be!").

Folks seem to have forgotten all the comments about Ola's cat suit!

Bizarrely enough I seem to remember Craig commenting on her having a 'phenomenal body' on ITT.
