Mcdonalds and Euros

hi,
I have a few left over Euro coins and i was just wondering if mcdonalds accept Euro coins as on the door at my local one it says "we accept euros"
but i dont know if its notes and coins or just notes?

any advice?

Ask them - we can only give a hearsay answer.

I would expect they would only accept full 1 or 2 Euro coins not smaller change but I do not actually know. I might actually try myself.

If they do they will probably give you an horrendous exchange rate to make it worth their while.

Just a wild guess, but unless their euro price is a nice round note number, they'd have to. Or as above, it's an even worse exchange rate..

I believe when they say "we accept Euros" they mean they accept Euros, which can be both coins and note.

Not exactly rocket science here.

Not always. Some larger high st shops take them in London but only accept notes and give an awful exchange rate.
