after seeing him on the panel tonight i can see why Simon is bringing Louis back

I feel him being blamed for this series malaise is a tad unfair- and Im a massive Grimmy loather!

I don't really like him but would disagree that he is to blame for poor ratings. Cheryl has not done anything to improve the show. I think it was a mistake bringing her back.

Cowell is not the nicest guy in the world to get into bed professionally with.

He is very powerful, but when you're out he can be brutal. Look at the way he treated Cheryl before. Look at Leona Lewis.

My feeling is that Grimmy's trajectory Southwards will be as stellar as his trajectory upwards

She more exciting than Cheryl IMO.

I never understood why Simon made Grimmy a judge. He's a DJ fgs! He has proved to be so boring, never offer a valid critique. Hope he goes and Louis returns. While we're at it, get rid of Cheryl too. She brings nothing to the show.

He was always going to look a bit out of place, simply because it's so odd seeing someone other than Louis in that seat after 11 years. He's doing a good job.

I don't mind Grimmy. He seems quite down to earth and though he is quiet that is surely down to the producers as everything is highly scripted. I'm hoping he'll come into his own when his category is full and the live shows start.

Actually I'm watching Xtra Factor and he is speaking or rather being shown to speak much more.

I thought he was a random choice when he was announced as a judge but I've actually quite liked him on the show. He's not been given a chance by the press - I think it's hard to tell how good the judges are until live shows because everything else is so heavily edited.

He looks to me like he is waiting to be caught after sneaking in like when you were a kid and if you were quiet no one saw you

I suppose the reason why Nick is getting all the flack is because he's not worth it.

Cheryl gets away with it because of her looks. Nick can't rely on his looks to get by in the same way. Besides, if Nick hasn't come across well so far on the show it might be because of the way they've edited him to look a certain way. TV can be incredibly manipulative.

Either that, or he really was just a ridiculous choice all along. Echoes of "I told you so" in the distance.

said something similar actually a couple of weeks ago , its hard to really judge how they will do on the panel until the lives as you just dont know how the edits have been done

they haven't really flattered him so far tho

your spot on it is heavily edited beyond belief ,i went to the x factor auditions as a member of the audience there was no crowd outside that's filmed anouther time no crowd waiting to audition in another room we saw just five or 6 acts that went in front of the judging panel last year ,and they were the ones they filmed for the show that went out so the judges don't sit in front of endless streams of wanna bes they are already picked out for them its all crap really the good the bad its all set up

iv also seen nick Grimshaw live and hes very good and worked hard on his show and i feel hes been edited out again heavily and must be very uncomfortable that he is getting the blame for the falling ratings which isn't the case
