This poll was done after all the celebs were named and Jeremy 'won' by a clear margin. Now the first dances are done I think he'll be saved by the public (he had the audience on his side and I've seen a lot of stuff on social media about him) - having previously had him down as likely first boot. So let's see how opinions have changed...

Iwan (and I've been praying for him to take part for years!).

It's a tough call this year. Based on marks/personalities I'd say it's between: Jeremy, Carol, Jamelia, Kirsty, Iwan and Ainsley.

Both Jeremy and Carol are probably likeable enough to appeal to the audience and avoid being in the first bottom two, although I may change that opinion if they get an early slot with a 'straigtforward' Ballroom that may not be particularly memorable.

With a Latin that should suit her personality a little more, Jamelia could very well also be okay on the merit of leaderboard position. That leaves Kirsty, Iwan and Ainsley also doing Latin and I suspect Ainsley will probably go down the semi-comedy route and just about get through. Iwan will probably do the whole routine with his shirt off, but being 'hot' may not be enough for him, while I generally expert Kirsty to be awful at the Salsa.

That leaves me thinking Iwan vs. Kirsty. I'm leaning more towards Kirsty at the moment, which I didn't expect to be saying before she danced last night.

Another vote for Iwan here ......... I cant see any other celeb that he would be saved over, so if he is in the bottom two, then he's gone ..........

i voted Iwan...As much enthusiasm as he shows, he can't put the hours in and therefore is automatically at a disadvantage...

I originally thought Jeremy.

But now I think it could be Iwan.

I can't believe I'm the first vote for Anthony.

I'm thinking Iwan for now, which I would be fine with. I can't see him doing well with a Cha-Cha at all, while other people towards the bottom of the leaderboard (Carol/Jeremy/Jamelia/Ainsley) will have dances that will suit them better that they could improve on.

I think Carol and Ainsley are safe, they are both well liked so the public vote will save them if they need it. Jamelia doesn't appear to be very popular, but I thought she was undermarked by the judges and should do better next week.
I think it could be between Kirsty and Iwan. Iwan seems to irritate a lot of people, so he gets my vote.

I think he's capable of a lot more and gave it a damn good try. I like the partnership too.

I'm going to vote Peter...because I can.

I Voted for Daniel, but he won't be the first out.

I think and hope Iwan. I think Kirsty could struggle too

I don't think Carol, Jeremy and Ainsley are out of the woods either though. Possibly even Daniel although I suspect his fan base will save him for now

Jamelia needs to watch herself if she gets another bad score but I suspect she will claw her way up the leader board next weekend

i also think Jamelia will have a better latin dance next weekend.

but maybe Helen doesn't have a good latin.

i think it's between 6 or 7 people, Carol&Ainsley&Jeremy&Iwan&Kirsty and maybe Daniel and Anthony are in danger.

Poor Iwan. I hope he stays. I hope it's Ainsley, Daniel, Jeremy or Kirsty who go first.

yeah those 4 were really bad, but Jeremy was entertaining.

Two questions:

1) Why Anthony? Was he THAT bad?
2) Why are you surprised your the firsst vote? Again, was he THAT bad?

I jumping on the Iwan bandwagon too. His enthusiasm is a plus but I not sure if his comittment is in sync...

Iwan I think - to be honest, if he knew he had other commitments, then he shouldn't have signed up for Strictly.

I wish is was Daniel the parody of Father Ted that he is.

But the blond welsh guy got the vote.

Without a doubt, I choose Iwan. A variety of factors involved: negative press right from the outset regarding him and Ola not getting along (whether it's true or not, it will still have an impact on how they're perceived), he is unable to put the hours in and it makes him seem like he's not really interested in it, and finally, he comes over as quite arrogant.

I would go along with Iwan, but have voted for Ainsley - I thought he looked just plain creepy.

Looks like we all think Iwan should go. I do too - and Carol next.

OK Jeremy is not a great dancer, and never will be, but his absolute delight in doing SCD and beaming smile all the way through his routine was lovely.

He also took the judges snarky remarks in his stride with great dignity.

I do hope he gets to play a little bit longer
