So how does it work then ?
The Pros are employed, on a freelance basis, for 4 months each year by the Beeb.........how does that give the Beeb the right to restrict what they do for the remaining 8 months of the year ?

The bbc aren't saying "no" to calendars

I can see their point, Strictly is a family orientated entertainment show, lots of young girls look up to the likes of Ola and Kristina and some of the shots are particularly "racy"

As for how the BBC stands and how they will enforce this ~ no clue!!

I'm not surprised. From the pictures published of Kristina and Ola's, the calendars are tacky and tawdry and not in keeping with Stricty's family image.

Sorry, my fault, I should have read this article... I thought it was the same as one I read ystdy which seemed to be saying no offshoot work at all during rest of year, which I thought was pretty daft....

I agree re the calendars, they don't sit right with a family entertainment show. However, if the Beeb are going down this route, then it could raise the question of why kristina is still employed on a family show

The calendars are pretty sleazy and much as I like the Jordans (soz), I find James' tweets promoting his wife's pretty much naked photographs a bit blerughhh.

Yes, absolutely. 'Please part with your cash and gawp at my near-naked wife. It's our pension, what with me not working so much nowadays.'

Grim.
